I like the straps, very comfortable on my shoulders. Inside its roomy, it can hold a lot of stuff without being bulky. I carry a lot of random stuff for being on-line, so its books, a change of clothing, food, water bottle, and its all it there. This backpack is perfect for the average high school student. It is compact yet holds a lot, and the back padding is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

All together, I really like this backpack. Small, light, and loads of space on the inside. But unfortunately, within two weeks or receiving it, the handle on top started ripping. Then in a couple of weeks, the entire handle ripped right off. In general, the design of the backpack is really cool. Stylish, loads of room, and lots of neat things that make it a convenient backpack. But I just wish that the product was a little more durable.

The color is awesome-Camodil grey, and it has lots of storage compartments! It is great. Love the stretchy bands on the outside. Very fast shipping too.

This North Face backpack was planned to fit the shoulder and back. Despite having purchased LL Bean in the past, I returned a recent purchase because it felt awkward. I wish the small pockets inside the pack would have a snap or some closure to prevent small items from falling out -- my only reservation. Altrec proved a reliable seller, and I'll come back to buy again.

My daughter decided that she needed a backpack once she got to college. She picked out the Diesel blue/El Rio Blue and I had it sent directly to her at school. Ordered it on Thursday and she had it Monday afternoon. She said it is perfect and loves the color, I liked how easy it was to order and have it shipped so quickly. After doing without a backpack since the beginning of school I finally addressed the issue with my 18 year old son. He requested a North Face product over our long standing L.L.Bean loyalty. I was eager to accommodate his wishes. It was a sign that school mattered for him to agree to the need for something to carry his books around. It has arrived and I am impressed with the product. I like the outside pocket features. We did not have this with our previous backpack. It appears durable and well made. I believe it will hold up to his rugged handling. The website made it very easy to sit down to and process through. I look forward to future purchases and continuing to support your company.

My daughter has back problems and this backpack has been the most comfortable to for her to wear, it seems to evenly distribute weight even when full.

This is an excellent backpack for high schoolers! I'm a junior and I bought one in diesel/el rio blue and it's the cutest color. I get lots of compliments. If you want to get a North Face backpack, this one is a good deal, it's a lot less expensive than some of the other ones. Very sturdy and holds all my stuff. This was the first book bag that didn't hurt my back when I had a heavy load. This back pack is everything I need! Best back pack I've ever had. I'm sticking to North Face.

This backpack is perfect - it is stylish, lightweight, and fits everything that I need. It does not look awkward when I have all of my books piled inside of it, and somehow it does not hurt my back like other backpacks I have had in the past. North Face is the way to go, and for the price of this backpack, it was well worth it!

Very Durable, and GREAT Price! I got the Jester backpack in Brown Plaid on sale and it's great. I might have paid twice the price in stores or on another site. It's comfortable when carrying heavy loads and also has a lot of storage. You won't find any other high quality gear at a price like this.

I got the Jester backpack in woodland camouflage on sale and it's great. I might have paid up to double what I paid for this thing. High quality gear. It's comfortable when carrying a heavy load and also has a lot of storage to boot.

Good pack. Lightweight, plenty of storage, and well built. However, this pack is not great for any heavy duty hiking as it lacks both a waste belt and bladder/camelbak storage slot. Good for what it is though

I ordered this backpack for my middle schooler after reading a review of backpacks which rated it high. We are satisfied with the sturdy zippers,designs, and compact look. So far, holding 2-2" binders, spiral notebooks, and supplies with space for a textbook.

The back pack is made well and loved the pattern on it. However, we found that due to the thick, durable backing, the pack did not expand enough to hold the items needed. We also would have preferred 1 more separate section. We returned the item.

I ordered a North Face Jester backpack for my daughter and she just loved it. It was durable, slim (but big enough to hold a lot), and had a very appealing look to it. Not to mention how excited my daughter got when it arrived.

This is the best backpack I have ever purchased. I bought it for my son in 6th grade and it held up to lots of abuse and it still looks great, it will probably last for years. I liked so much I bought another one for one of my elementary sons.

I am very pleased with the back packs construction, with the padded backstraps that takes the pressure off the lower back. I have purchased the Northface backpacks for all of my grandchildren over the last few years.

One of the main features I was looking for was that the backpack wouldn't look huge and goofy when it was full of stuff. I can pack a laptop, charger, and three textbooks and it looks like some of my other backpacks when they are empty. It's really comfortable and feels sturdy. Looks great too, in plaid.

I have 3 of these packs, one for each of my teenagers. They have held up so well I decided to buy one for myself! My son has used his since freshman year (he's a junior) and it still looks good. Zippers are very sturdy and don't seem to break no matter how much you stuff into the pack. The price on this site was outstanding which just made me even happier with my purchase!!
