The North Face Kid's Tigger 20 Degree Sleeping Bag

Falls short in a couple areas

I bought this sleeping bag as something my 2 1/2 year old grandson Devin could grow into. I ended up disappointed (although only with North Face and not Altrec, which had this sleeping bag on special). Things I'm not too fond of: 1. The model name is "Tigger" so of course I expected a Winnie the Pooh motif, but the inner fabric design is birds - neither my wife nor I could figure out what this had to do with Tigger. 2. The sleeping bag is not very lofty and the insulation has little "give" to it. I can't in my wildest dreams believe that this sleeping bag would keep a child warm down to 20 degrees, although I haven't tested that claim. 3. The zipper is too short - only about a third of the bag. It works fine now while my grandson is small #about 3' tall#, but it looks like it will be a tussle to get inside when he gets bigger. Overall the quality #other than questionable loft# is fine. It's too cold this time of year to start Devin out camping but I set a tent up in our living room so he could try it out, he thought the sleeping bag was great fun #although realistically he doesn't know the first thing about gear#. We won't get a full workout until we camp out in the back yard late this spring.

We had some princess bags for the girls, but they were not happy at night. We ordered new bags and they slept great! We will order 1 more next year for kid #4!.

careful with the size

Great looking bag. Problem is my 4'9" kid does not fit in the 5'0" bag, so be careful with any child over 4'6"

Our kids enjoyed these, they are warm and light. Great for backpacking, car camping, or sleepovers.

So far we've only used this bag in weather down to the 40's, and it's been a great performer. The bag is well-built, durable and machine washable. The pre-shaped hood is excellent. Most importantly, my son loves it - he wants to go camping and hiking because he has his own sleeping bag. My only complaint about the bag is that it only has a half-zipper so you can't use it as a blanket for those summer campouts.
