Big heads wanted

This is a nice, well made hat. I ordered both sizes. The larger is made for pretty darn big headed types. The smaller is made for medium and below. (I wear a medium Moto helmet) My problem: good fit with small/medium diameter wise. BAD fit in terms of hat height. This hat should fit snugly on my scalp to look normal and my head should take up all the space in the hat. It sits too high on my head, and sticks up like a top hat. Maybe my forehead is too short. I have to tuck my ears into the side of the hat before it fits like I want.

Not for outdoor sports use I think. Very stylish.Nice looking. I think it's 100% cotton. Best use in warm weather. Not suitable for hot days definitely.

I love this hat. Plain and simple. I wear it while backpacking, fly fishing, approach hiking, camping, driving... It's particularly useful on backpacking trips. If its too hot for a hat, I fold it up and stow in any pocket. The brim is long enough for keeping the sun off of my eyes and short enough to make me forget its in my pocket. It's often made me the brunt of many [ca-st]ro jokes (I have a beard), but I don't care. I'm going to buy another right now.

A well made hat - high quality and meant to fit a range of head sizes from about 7 1/2 to 7 7/8. Very comfortable - so comfortable that I bought two! It looks like it will age gracefully as well, an important feature in a cap.

I have a 7 5/8 hat size and the L/XL fits perfect.

High Time for a review

This hat is advertised as 100% nylon textured weave at the time of this review. However the hat I received was 100% cotton. It was actually very plus and comfortable, however I got too large of a size, and was disappointed to find it was cotton. I would have kept it had it been made of the material advertised, and if I had ordered the correct size. The construction appeared to be very high quality, and would feel very confident in its durability.
