This durable faille weave, seam sealed softshell with HyVent™ 2L waterproof treatment fights the elements, and places its alpine pockets high so they won't get in the way of straps or a waist-belt. The core vents in the pockets also conspire with underarm zips to help dump heat on your rapid ascent. A removable drop hood with a lower-face protection panel keeps your head and face protected during wintery storms. A standard fit that is zip-in compatible leaves room for warming layers underneath.

Excellent waterproof choice
I wore it in a downpour at a game, didn't get wet. Love it. look forward to winter with a zip in optin it should be warm enough for Adirondack weather.
