This jacket is great. You can wear it in the middle of winter and feel warm even though it's lightweight. The only issue like all North Face jackets is they are slightly short if you are over 6 feet tall. I couldn't be happier with my purchase for how much quality is built into the jacket.

I think the idea of a softshell with a hood is a great idea. I like the Apex softshell material as opposed to other, less durable softshells. I have yet to test this jacket in heavy rainfall, but it has met all expectations in a cold, snowy MN winter thus far.

Awesome jacket, fit for everyday uses and perfect for unexpected weather. Cons, sleeve design to long for short people like me and length of the jacket is a little bit short compare to others.

Quality, but runs small....

This jacket will shield you from wind and rain. It's stylish and well constructed. Sizing runs small, so order a size larger than usual. The quality of the jacket would make it suitable for snowy weather.

I love it perfect fit and the fabric is water resistant. Its lightwieght and easy to store in your backpack. I would use this in all types of weather here in the northwest.

Poor cool wind protection

I like the jacket but in 50 degree and lower + wind I still feel cool. Even in cool weather with little wind I need to wear another layer + a long sleeve shirt to keep warm. I do not understand why the product doesn't keep me warmer or block the wind better? It seems that the tecnology and cost would provide a better product. As for the fit it needs more room in the armpits. I would recommend this product for the style, weight and the hood. But wear it as a shell over fleece.

A Hidden Gem...

I was happily surprised by the versatility with this jacket. It is hooded and the hood is not oversized whatsoever. The jacket itself is windproof and H2O resistant as well. If you are looking for something light but versatile, this jacket is for you. My only "beef" with the jacket is that it runs a size smaller...unlike all North Face products. So, order a size up...especially is you plan on layering under it.

I love the fabric of this jacket. It's light and comfortable. The fleece added warmth. I also find the Velcro adjustable cuffs to be unique. This jacket is perfect for fall days. It blocks out the wind and the rain, will keep you dry.

Jacket is perfect for spring/fall weather. Not too light, not too heavy. Water resistant with a hood and holds up against stiff winds. Very satisfied with this product.

I love the jacket. The fit is nice, on the bigger side, but great for layering. I really like the material. It's great at keeping me warm, but not too heavy. This is my first North Face purchase, but won't be my last. I see why it's so popular.

Excellent soft shell

This is an excellent soft shell. Took it sking this past week and worked out perfect. A bit of a tight fit but still able to squeeze in a layer for the colder day. On the warmer day I wished there were vents but once on the chair riding up, it kepts me warm when the breeze kicked up. Another thing I would liked to have is a media port either through the side pockets or the arm pocket so I can route my headphones. A small snip should take care of that.

Everyone in my school was getting a north face. I thought it was just a trend that would come and go. I decided to buy the android hoodie after i went to the north face store, near where i live, and tried on the bionic jacket. One of the sales person said the android was just like the bionic, but i couldn't get it because they ran out. Loved the material and so i HAD to buy it since i don't have any jackets like the android.

Jacket is warm and has helped me through several rain storms.There are many big pockets on the jacket, which allow you to hold a lot of items. All in all, this is the perfect jacket for going through all weather types.

I own a full service Car Wash, I have always been looking for the best jacket for warmth and for waterproofness. I love the north Face apex Jacket. I always wished they had a hood for it, Finally I found this jacket. The water will hit the jacket and all i do is shake and the water beads off. Im outside for 9 hours in 7 to 15 degree weather. Now I also am wearing under armor. Thermal and a light fleace underneath. I can wear this jacket over this. And have no issue. This is a great jacket.

I recently ordered this jacket. Mainly because I wanted something during freezing temperature. The jacket is bit large, but is extremely good. It insulates very nicely. The material is waterproof so even if it rains this jacket will serve the purpose of raincoat. Good buy!! I highly recommend this product.

Nice jacket but...

Overall the Android Hoodie is a nice, well made jacket. I was caught in a rain shower and the jacket was basically waterproof. It seems a little thicker than the Apex Bionic so warmer. My only complaint is that the fit is a little tight around the waist. I'm 5'7", 150 lbs, and normally a North Face size small fits perfectly with a little room for layering underneath. Not the case with the Android Hoodie. I guess this jacket has an athletic fit but is not indicated in the description? With just a t-shirt on underneath its fine but tight fit with anything bulky like a sweater on underneath. The jacket fit perfectly everywhere else though.
