The North Face Apex Pneumatic Jacket - Men's

I got this jacket as a birthday gift from my parents last month. This also happened to be my first North Face product so I didn't know what to expect from it other than the fact that it's so darn popular with kids and adults alike. I tried it in the store before they bought it and I started sweating. It's that warm. LOL. I like that it's not bulky at all and can handle temperatures as low as 42 deg and can feel comfortable all the way up to the low 60s. Around the low 30s, I used a sweatshirt for added warmth. But It feels comfortable without any extra layer when you are doing something active outdoors in the cold. I recently tried using this as an extra layer to my new NF Apex Paradigm jacket when we hit temps below freezing. Because it's so light, it really didn't add too much bulk to the Paradigm jacket. For active outdoor activities in the cold weather with effective wind protection, I would really recommend this jacket. I hope it last a few years because I love the way it looks and feels. I actually bought the black/grey color combo which looks so much better than the plain black.

This is the first official North Face jacket I'v owned and I'm more than happy so far. Its got great material that isn't constricting at all but allows you to move as freely as you need too. The fit is true to size and molds to a my build well. My only gripe is the pockets are a light mesh material like on the inside of my swim trunks from when I was a kid. This doesn't kill the whole product but I'm just concerned this light material will ware and tare sooner rather than later. All in all though this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone.

I would recommend this jacket to anyone. I wear it on hikes in the rain and to the office, looks great and functions great everywhere. The only thing is that the sleeves are a touch long, and usually sleeves are a touch short for my long arms. I am 6'2" and a Medium might have worked.

I just bought this for my son and he loved it. I would recommend this jacket to all my friends. The jacket is very comfortable and I couldn't believe how fast it came and the fit was to the T. Loved it!!

Great Light weight jacket

This jacket looks great and is light enough for spring weather. The only thing that i did not like was that the pockets are lined with a mesh so whatever you are carrying in them can be seen from the inside of the jacket. this can be a problem when hanging up the jacket. Other than that, its is awesome.

Really loved the jacket fits very well. The only thing that I dislike is that the color is stated as black but its more of a charcoal grey. I wish it was really black in color. Other than that I would definitely use Altrec and purchase Northface gear again.

This is my favorite jacket. Not too warm to wear inside not too cold to put on on a chilly day. It looks cool and its comfy. I'm probably going to order it in another color too and maybe one for my wife.

I purchased this before going on a trip to Scotland in April. I wanted something light that could be worn alone in cool weather and also under a heavier coat in very cold temps or rain. The North Face Pneumatic was perfect. It's light and compact but windproof enough that it works alone unless it's very wet or cold. Then just put a rain jacket or something heavier over it. I'm 5'10", 190 lbs and a size large fit perfectly. I looked at a lot of jackets and this one fit my needs perfectly.

I purchased this jacket and the delivery was very prompt. I selected a Large as I'm 6'0 and about 205 lbs. The quality and looks of the jacket are top notch but the fit of the large was a little snug for me so I'm returning for an XL so I can comfortably wear something more than a T-shirt underneath. I haven't had an opportunity to fully test this jacket but it's very comfortable and I'm a believer in The North Face quality. I lived in Cleveland for many years and have a number of "cold weather" jackets. Now that I've returned to the mid-Atlantic, I needed a spring/fall jacket that wasn't too heavy. I give the Apex Pneumatic Jacket a thumbs up.

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend as a gift because he is always complaining about not having warm jackets during the winter time. The arm length was longer so I would recommend ordering a smaller size. Shipping was fast as well. I would recommend purchasing North Face products from this website. You will not be disappointed.

The Pnuematic jacket exceeded my expectations. It is water resistant and great for colder weather. It looks great and also wears great and was a great value because of its quality.

Great Running/Hiking Jacket

This jacket is great for running or hiking in the fall or spring. It is a light jacket that offers protection from rain and wind, along with a nice snug fit that fits your body nicely. The one aspect of this jacket I do not like is that there is no padding or soft material on the inside, meaning that it is not the most comfortable of jackets if you are wearing a t-shirt only and running errands around town. However, if you are running or hiking and need something light that will offer you good protection from water and wind, this is your jacket. The pockets are great and the cuffs are adjustable as well. I highly recommend this product.

A bit disappointed

TNF Apex Pneumatic Jacket was a bit disappointing. I've always had very good experience with buying comfortable apparel from TNF; however, this jacket material is just not very flexible. It also felt a bit heavy for my taste. Also, if you're zipped all the way up, it does not unzip very well or smoothly. Finally, the inside mesh material allows anything that you put in your side pockets to be clearly visible. Having worn a Apex Bionic, I would recommend the Bionic over the Pneumatic.

Received this northface jacket today. Arrived just a few days after placing the order. Later in the day I went to the beach and it was extremely windy and cold. Jacket worked perfect. Was comfortable and the jacket breaths so you don't get too warm in it. Very flexable fabric so it is super comfortable to wear. I would highly recomend this jacket to an active outdoor person.

This is a very stylish soft-shell jacket. I wear this early in the morning when the weather is chilly, it keeps me warm throughout the whole day. Light and warm perfect for the cold season.

This is my 3rd North Face Adventure wearable..I have now 2 jackets and a vest...but this jacket is just right!! not too warm and not bulky at all... I bought the Apex Pneumatic for work and play..I can wear it in a cold air condition office or outside on a cool day..it's a perfect blend of protection,comfort and style.

Stylish, tough jacket

Am enjoying this jacket easily. It looks sharp, protects from the cold/rain, and doesn't cost too much. Only issue is the fit, as the sleeves on my XL are a bit long.

Quality is what is expected from North Face. The pneumatic is a step down from their bionic but basically exact same for cheaper.
