Awesome Jacket!
This is a great all around jacket. I needed something that was versatile to get me through the harsh winters but also keep me dry in the rain. I stay very warm with just a t-shirt and this jacket. I agree underneath the arms is a little snug, but I believe it was designed to be this way. This did not change the size I got. I am 6'0" and 165 and a medium fits perfectly.

great jacket
The best jacket I own. The fit is true and accurate-and a very warm jacket. Hands down the best quality and construction!!! I would definitely recommend this jacket too friends. I just love how the liner zips out-so your never overdresses.

My first TNF
My first TNF triclimate and like it very much. The solid construction of the jacket make it reliable. The shell is a bit hard but feels good. The fleece is fit the outer jacket. The chains are smooth. I tried walked in a medium rain for half hour and the waterproof is good. The only one drawback is that when the chain reach the top. some raindrops easily wet the upper part of the inner fleece.

Excellent Choice
I am very happy with my purchase, the jacket fits to a "T". It is durable and allows for free movement of arms without binding. The tailored style is functional and doesn't hinder wear of equipment. The outer shell blocks wind exceptionally well and is great in the rain as well. It also looks great.

Everything you need
I attend university along the great lakes. Weather can be pretty harsh. The triclimate system allows the jacket to function as a fall fleece, winter coat, and fall or spring rain jacket. Water and wind proofing are great. Fleece is heavier than most, good alone or as the insulator to the jacket. Great craftsmanship. TNF is a phenominal brand and this jacket is a testimony to that.

Great Jacket
Love the fact that I can wear the fleece by itself or with the waterproof shell. As stated previously, it is a little bit snug around your armpits but not uncomfortable. I'm 5 10' 160 pounds and a medium fits me well. Extremely warm and worth the money.

The North Face Jacket
This jacket keeps me very warm. I'm in Texas and we are experiencing a very cold spell and this jacket keeps me warm. It's nice becuase you can wear the fleece jacket by itself or the jacket and fleece liner together. I would totally recommend this jacket to anyone who wants to keep warm.

Great jacket for cold weather
Love the jacket. Can't go wrong. The fit is perfect. I would buy the jacket again. This jacket is excellent for cold weather. Because of the breathable HyVent you don't overheat.

great jacket
i ordered this jacket as a second selection because the one i really wanted didnt have my size. i had my doubts, however, this is a great jacket. It fits a little tight so i had to go up a size than i normally wear. overall this is a great jacket, plenty warm and keeps the water out.

Surprising!
I had initially decided to buy this because of all The North Face coats I looked at, it had been rated as the warmest by customers even though it is one of the less expensive triclimates. When I opened the package I was a little concerned because it feels pretty thin and it's also lightweight. I decided to wear it for a few days and see what I thought, and I really haven't been disappointed! Especially given how light it feels, it's a very warm coat. Last night I was out in -5 degree weather and I was perfectly comfortable without having all that many layers on. I had a little apprehension when I got it, but after wearing it for the last several days in really cold weather, I can say with confidence that this is a good buy.

Love It!
I bought this jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas. I was a little hesitant since he's not a big shopper and tends to return everything he buys but he LOVED it! He desperately needed a new winter jacket and could have also used a new light-weight jacket so I thought the Triclimate would be the perfect gift... it's 3 jackets in one! He has worn it pretty much every day since I gave it to him, with just the fleece alone and with the fleece and shell on the very cold winter days. He has texted me a couple of times on really windy days saying how great the 2 jackets were together and how he could definitely tell the difference with the wind.
The only drawback is that it does run small. He is 5'10" and maybe 200 pounds, very broad shoulders. I bought the XL, based on the other reviews, and I am thankful I did. It's a tad big but allows him to wear layers or a heavy sweater under it.
Overall, he loves it-- phew!!

Great quality!
This jacket has very high quality that makes me believe I will buy more for future. ALtrec provides a huge selection which almost has the same models as the official website and offers a lower price. I like it.

Great Purchase
After searching for months for a new winter jacket, I finally found this jacket, which I had had a difficult time finding in my size on any other sight. The package arrived a day earlier than scheduled, which was a great surprise, and the overall quality of the jacket is great... very warm and comfortable!

The North Face Atlas
This is a great jacket. I got it not really expecting much. However, this is a true "all season" jacket. It is super warm since the outer shell blocks wind and it can be used as a rain jacket for spring since the fleece zips out. Also, on super cold days, I can zip in my denali fleece and I'm ready to go. Great jacket

Good but snug under the arms
Good, warn jacket and really like the look, weight and versatility of it. The 200 weight fleece that zips out is great on it's own. Only problem is I have an athletic build and it's tight under my arms but then slightly loose in the waist which bugs me a little bit. Overall good jacket but if you have an athletic build you may want to look at the Marmot jackets that have the angel wing movement.

One of the best jackets for the price. I am always choosing between The North Face and Columbia, both are great companies. But because of this jacket, go North Face! Waterproof and warm.

Warm, Stylish and versatile!
This is a great jacket and so versatile with the zip out fleece liner. Love everything about the jacket and it was warm as well, thanks North Face! Altrec was great and shipped the coat fast!

Great jacket, but wife ordered wrong size for Christmas, so had to place another order. I love the three in one jacket. Also, love that jacket is waterproof.

Comfortable, versatile and warm
Wonderful jacket....sizing was a bit difficult since the M seems to run a bit larger than the dimensions, and the large seems too roomy (I settled for the medium after two trials). Love the triclimate concept and find both jackets to work well together as well as individually. It is what you would expect from The North Face. Altrec was great in the return authorization process.
