I was looking for a pair of boots to handle Northeast winters and that looked sharp in the process. These boots fit the bill. I have a wide foot and I ordered these boots a half size larger than my normal sneakers and they fit perfectly! They're really warm and stylish too! Just waiting for another big snowfall to really put them to the test. If the red laces throw you off, they come with a tamer brown lace as an additional set.

They fit perfectly and are very warm! Sizing in these boots are very similar to Nike. Love how they came with interchangeable shoe laces (red shoe laces and also brown shoe laces). Can never go wrong with chosing The North Face.

This North Face shoe is a first NF shoe I ever kept. For some reason I always found something that did not work for me. I believe this time North Face is finally on the right track and knows what to do. This shoe particular is very light, warm, and retro-stylish. I especially like the red laces. I think anyone that decides on getting this shoe - would be very happy with their choice.

i was searching for a good looking boot that can handle a harsh winter, these are just what i was looking for... a great boot, very comfortable, i would recommend. I usually wear size 10 to 10.5 and ordered this in a 10.5 and it fits just right.

These are super comfy, warm, and extremely waterproof. Used them in deep powder snow (and snow shoeing) and no wetness at all. They are comfortable and look very cool even with jeans. Cool retro/modern look. THey are very light. And also not outrageously expensive.

This boots look old school which is why I got them. They look better than the pictures when you get them. I thought that the nylon/mesh looked weird because usually that part would be leather, but they make for a good looking boot, and also make it lightweight. The boots are warm, but you'll probably need thick socks. For that reason, order a half size bigger than your regular size.

These boots are wonderful! Super-awesome. Flexible and I would consider them water resistant, not water proof. I liked these boots very much. I have been using these for a few weeks. so far. They they will keep your feet warm.

Great boots that combine style with outdoor qualities. They are extra comfortable and warm. First 2 days are a little rough on the foot but later on you'll feel great. I've used them in snow and water with not a single drop inside the boot. Excellent choice, I totally recommend it.

What can I say....this is a great boot! I needed a stylish alternative to duck boots in the winter and this definitely filled that void. Not only is it stylish with a retro look but it also is very functional. It is lined and insulated and has kept my feet warm on some very cold days. This boot provides the user with great traction in snow and especially on ice. Some of the treads harden depending on how cold the ground is which is a cool feature. As far as sizing is concerned, I read a number of reviews on this website to get an idea on what size to order. I am 5'-9", 190 lbs and I typically wear a 10.5. My feet are a little wide so I have to be wary of the toe box area. After reading the reviews I decided to go ahead and order a size 11 because it seemed that the consensus was these boots run a half size small. And low and behold they were right! The 11 fit like a glove. I matched it up with a 10.5 Timberland field boot (almost the same cut and style) and it is exactly the same size. So if you are thinking about ordering these boots order a half size up!
