Very Comfortable Flip Flop
When I first put them on, they were a little tight, but after wearing them, they began to stretch and now fit just right. They are very comfortable and feels like you are walking on air. I am very happy with this purchase.

Too small...
Really would have loved to have written a glowing review of this sandal...but when I got it...it was way too tight of a fit. I wear size 13 sneakers, so I got a size 14 in the sandal. The thong part of the sandal was so tight I couldn't even get it on my foot. I see now that some other reviewers had the same problem with tightness, but they wore them for a week to see if they stretched. I did not wait and returned the sandal. So, if you're buying these...be aware that they may be too tight.

Tight!!!!!
Initially, runs really tight. I actually thought about returning it because my feet barely fit. But, I thought I would see first if it just required a little stretching. Sure enough, after a week of gradual use it now fits perfect. I can't lie, it was really tight when you first get it that I even questioned if the slippers were labeled incorrectly. But now it fits and feels great on my feet.

Amazing
I am not a flip flop wearing individual, but after having worn the TNF Base Camp slip ons I was willing to try these flip flops and I must say, they are amazingly comfortable. Never before would I be caught wearing flip flops, much less outside my house, but with these that is not the case. The level of comfort is outstanding, and the construction seems to be incredibly durable. Highly recommended.

FANTASTIC FLIP FLOPS!
I have never worn a more comfortable pair of flip flops ever! The waffle design on the bottom of your feet is like a little foot massage and the material that it is made out of is very soft and squishy. I own other flip flops that are much harder and really dont have any cushion to them and it basically feels like im walking on concrete, but not with these puppies! The material between the toes and on top of the foot is formed and very soft as well. You can completely drench these things and dry them out, good as new. They only come in full sizes and im usually a 10.5 guy, I bought the size 10's and they were too small. I then bought the 11's and they were great, so if your a half size, go up! Hope this helps!

Great Flip-Flops
This is my second pair for my son-in-law. The last pair lasts over two years and he wore them everyday during the summer months. He swears by them. I ordered two pairs, one for him and one for my son. I really like the brown pair, nice color combo.

Altrec has an expansive line of products, with the ability to supply their customers with many hard to find colors, styles, and brands. When wearing these sandals, the people who do notice them didn’t seem turned off by the appearance. I was pleasantly surprised by the way these sandals looked on my feet.

Comfortable and affordable
These were among my best purchases of the last few years. I have owned several different flip fops, and these were by far the most comfortable. I have used them for everyday wear, but also for backcountry stream crossings and general base camp wear. If you get the flashy colors people will complement you in your fashion. If you look around, I believe you will see they compare very well with the name-brand prices at the discount or general retail stores. For general reference, my flip flops lasted two years with heavy use.

Best flip flop out there
I bought these for my boyfriend about 2 years ago, and from the moment he put them on, he fell in love with them! They are very durable and VERY comfortable! He finally managed to tear them up by getting his foot caught, but they lasted for 2 years, and I had to buy him a new pair, as well as for myself. He normally wears a 10 1/2 and his first pair was an 11, but decided to buy him a 10 and he said they fit just right!

Great flip flops
Living in the south, I wear flip-flops about six months of the year, and I've tried a number of different brands. Rainbows are good and last forever, but they're expensive. Tevas and Chacos are cheaper, but get slick in the rain and aren't as durable. With North Face flip-flops, I found a great balance. The ribbing is comfortable and provides some extra grip in the rain, they last a year or more of steady use before wearing down, and they're cheap. I highly recommend these flip-flops.

It's like walking on bed. they are very comfortable and stylish. They feel a bit tight on my feet, but I'm getting used to it. I would recommend this to anyone who walks around a lot.

great sandals
Most durable flip flops i have ever found. I have about 4 pairs now. They are great for everyday use or for working in or for sports. They are also super comfortable.

comfortable
At first I thought this flip-flop would be uncomfortable due to the 'bumps' on the bottom. But this shoe is really comfortable and seems to be able to hold up well, although I have not used it extensively yet.

Go to flops
When I get home from anything be it work, play, skiing, long trek up a 14er, I put these on. My feet get abused and I need something that feels healing to them once they day is done. These do the job. Egg crate feeling material of the flop feels amazing on beat up feet. After having them on for a bit my feet feel much better and that's what I need. Durability is fine but it's a 20 something dollar flop so just understand that you'll be buying a new pair of these once in a while. North Face so can't go wrong. True to size.

Tough enough
I bought these flip flops for my two boys. They are very tough on all shoes and these stood up the whole summer. One of my sons did get a small rip in the tip of the toe from riding his bike. The best part was when the shoes came in the mail, one pair was too small, but they exchanged them with no problem. I would buy another pair of these.

Basecamp flipflop
I live in HI and use these a lot. They are comfortable and are my everyday sandals. They don't offer great ankle support, but most sandals don't anyway.

Flip-flop that works even on the run
The flip-flop is suprising comfortable to wear. Unlike the typical flip-flops with plast straps and espcially the binding in the front toes that bites and hurts between your toes and the side of your your feet, North Face's flip-flot soft jersey lined strap and cloth toe binding makes it very friendly to your feet. It wears your feet like a pair of comfortable open-air walking shoes, but it does wears narrow when wearing brand new at first. While the sole is thick and makes you confident that it can withstand wear and tear, it does makes it a bit heavy. Still, the feet feels very comfortable with its bubble design and overall feel is just very comfortable even after a very long walk.

Great flip-flops
The North Face flip-flops have to be the best I have ever purchased. Over the years I have had many flip-flops fall apart on me. The straps either broke or loosened to the point of being unwaerable. Or the soles wore down so quickly that I could feel every pebble I walked over. This is my second pair of North Face flip-flops; the first pair lasted two years and are still comfortable for wearing around he house. The egg crate design makes it feel as if you're walking on air, and at 230 pounds I know I put a lot of wear and tear on them, but they hold up extremely well. I would reccommend to anyone looking for a pair of casual fl-flops. And, by the way, they look great as well.

Fantastic sandal, durable & very comfortable.
Love this flip-flop! They are made really well & fit true to size. The textured soul is like getting a small massage on your feet while you walk. I wear them through Manhattan, to the train, & right onto the beaches on Long Island. Talk about universal.

Great all summer sandals
This is my second pair of Base Camp sandals and I love them. This shoe fits true to size, maintains grip when wet and last through more than one season. I highly recommend them.

Awesome flip flops

Comfortable and stylish, but smelly...
I've had these for a few months now. Really comfy and they get a lot of comments on how cool they look. Unfortunately they've developed quite a stench. Admittedly they've gotten essentially daily use out of me, and they've been submerged in (fresh) water once or twice. I'm hoping there's a way to get the smell out. I've yet to try.

Incredibly Comfortable - A Steal

well-made comfy sport sandal
I like these sandals a lot. They're great after a long run or after a day of hiking. The footbed provides a slight massage and has enough texture to prevent the sandal from sliding around against the sole of the foot. The footbd will also take the shape of the foot after wearing it for a day or two.

Super Cushy Sandals!
This is my 2nd pair of these. i bought a pair in red as soon as they came out and just got the white ones too. The first batch of "egg crate" style soles had rather large peaks and valleys, which at first was rather uncomfortable...poking into the bottom of your feet to give you a bit of improvised kind of reflexology. Not good. BUT...after a few hours, the stiffness broke down and the rubber learned the shape of your feet and it was then VERY comfortable. The arches are also REALLY nice on these. The ones they are selling down have been modified to have much smaller pattern of egg crate (not as cool looking, but more comfortable out of the box). These also soften after a bit of use. The top straps shed a couple of threads after a couple days that can simply be clipped and that stops. All in all, they are very plush sandals. The strap between the toe is very soft and does not irritate. In exchange for softness, they are prone to "chipping" of the foam if you catch then on sharp edges, but its just part of normal wear. They also will take on water a bit more than pure rubber/plastic flip flops and will take a couple hours to fully dry if you soak them (quicker in hot sun). But this is definitely worth dealing with if you want something super comfortable on your feet. I would definitely recommend them and when mine wear out, I will buy another pair. Rock on.
