When I first purchased this jacket from Altrec, they said that it was on backorder and it would not be shipped 3 weeks later on estimate. An email was delivered about a week and a half later of my order, and notified that it was shipped... before the estimated date... awesome! Can't say anything bad about any North Face products, and this certainly is no exception! Its very heavy, well lined, and fits like a glove. The only thing negative I would say is that the hood is a little bigger than my head, but nothing major. I love this jacket!

My son knows what he likes, and is very discerning in his purchases. I wanted to get him a warm Northface jacket for Christmas. Of all the jackets, that he looked at he chose the Buckeye Bomber in black. We ordered a size medium, and it fit him perfectly. He is about 5"9 in height. It is very well made, has nice detail. The jacket can be worn for casual wear but is also nice to wear for dressy/casual. This is a jacket that is classic and fashionable at the same time. I'm sure he will wear it for years to come. When he called to thank me I could hear how pleased he was with it. We highly recommend the jacket!
