Quick drying. Useful pockets. The most comfortable mesh lining that I have found. Avoid the darker colors if you plan on wearing them as casual wear, fine lint really clings to the fabric.

I have 5 pairs and wear them constantly. They waer like iron, dry very fast, and have very useable pockets and the best mesh underwear, supports, for real. I'm trying to wear out one pair and I can't do it. The waist elastic is a little weird pulling them on and off but weaqring them is an absolute pleasure. The inseam is perfect for me just above the knee.

The elastic waist band is very flimsy; you need the belt just to hold the pants up. Why the North Face didn't put the Meridian's excellent elastic and drawcord waist on these shorts is a mystery.
