Denali with Hoodie
This jacket was bought to replace a Denali that did not have a hood. While wearing a t-shirt underneath this jacket a bit of wind can be felt through the jacket. For temperatures 35 degrees and above this is a great stand alone jacket. Definitely not meant to be worn in severe weather. Bundle this with a shell and you'll be good to go. I am 5'-5" at 140 lbs and size small is perfect.

Great Jacket
This jacket works for just about everything, and when I need a little more warmth I throw a North face Diaz vest on top of it.
Got mine on sale so it is good value.

Great Quality
Bought this for my teenage boys and they love it! they don't like to wear big, bulky jackets in winter so this jacket is great for them. Roomy enough to wear sweatshirt under. Sleeves are a little long but they love it!

Best Buy Ever
First of all this is the best price for the product that I could find and who isn't trying to save a buck or two? PLUS FREE Shipping!! Truly was a no brainer. The jacket is comfortable around the house as well as outside, it really holds in warmth very well. Also has a hood, so it's great against wind.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY JACKET!!!
I've waited a long time to get my North Face jacket and was even happier that I got it on sale....I decided to get a Mens jacket instead of womens because I wanted to be able to wear a sweater and not have the jacket feel really snug as it did with the womens jacket. I bought a Mens L because I would need an XL or 2XL in Womens. This jacket is very warm and a great investment.

Great Guy Gift
This hoodie is a great guy gift.... ifhe doesn't like to feel or look bulky with winter layering this is perfect!!! It is light weight yet still provides wind protection and is fairly warm!!

Love The North Face
Have 4 men in the family and they wouldn't wear anything but The North Face. This hoodie is perfect for all their outdoor activities and I occasionally borrow it. (shhh...don't tell them) I would definitey recommend this hoodie!! It holds up very well and the fit has always been great.

Excellent buy
Now I see why North Face jackets are so popular. This jacket is warm enough for very cold weather in Texas. It is light enough to wear all season long. The hoodie adds that extra protection to head and ears from bitter cold. The fit is good. My husband loves it.

Great Jacket
This is a great jacket. If you are looking at the denali consider looking at the hoodie. It has all the great properties of the regular denali but with a hood. Very warm and if you feel the need to wear a windwall under it, it will stand up to even the coldest of days.

Great Product!
awesome jacket...runs a little big but I haven't washed it yet. Very warm product and can fit a sweatshirt underneath if needed. Wore it out in the snow and did not get wet.

No "zip pits" please
I was so excited to get this for my husband since you see people wearing North Face jackets everywhere. He loves a jacket with a hood so I went with the Denali. Unfortunately, as soon as he tried it on he complained that it was extremely uncomfortable under his arms due to the stiffness of the pit ventilation zippers. He immediately said that the jacket was no good. I will return this one & he has now decided to go with one without a hood. Very disappointed!

This fits snug
This is a really nice jacket, but it fits snug. It looks great on a slim body, but on someone with a little extra padding, not so much. I love North Face products, and the quality is top notch, but, unfortunately, it looks better on someone who is athletic.

My teenage son likes this jacket!
I purchased the medium size jacket for my 16 year old son, but had to return it and get the small, though he usually wears a medium hoody. This process was simple and easy. My son is very "picky" about coats and liked this one. The hood is great as we live in Seattle and it rains most days. The weight is perfect for a mild winter coat and the quality insures that it will last for years to come. Now, my husband wants one. Our family spends our weekends outdoors and have had good luck with "The North Face" brand clothing.

I got this jacket at first because its looks, stylish, and trendy design, but once I started wearing it wow! discovered that not only fits me really well, it's made of a fabric that is extremely comfortable, very warm, and I can combine it with other wind/waterproof northface jackets, truly an all around jacket, as I said; I love this top quality jacket.

YEAH ALTREC!
After my son,a freshman at UNC informed me he was wearing his 2yr old North Face without a hood & he would not carry an umbrellam my first thought was,"I wonder if North Face has a hooded jacket?".He & his twin both tell me not to shop for them.I took a risk & went his words. The look of unexpectation & delight upon holding a NF Hoodie Denali was worth every penny!He is a slim built young man & I thought he could get by with a Boys XL as we have in the past with merchandise of great standards to save a little money.My bad,it was too small.Now we are scrambling to reorder in the appropriate size before returning to college. This is a perfect jacket for NC,it gets cold but not frigid. This jacket has the hood & water repellent upper with the warmth of the bottom fleece type bottom. I would recommend this jacket for kids in elementary to Adults.Light weight but keeps you dry,warm & cozy. The folks at Altrec were wonderful in assisting me with the return procedure & info for ordering a size up. GO ALTREC! dhh

Great Jacket!
I bought this jacket for my middle school age son. He likes the jacket a lot! His older brother (a freshman in college) thinks the jacket is great. He has the Denali without the hood and wishes he had this one with a hood.

I ordered the tall size for my son who is 17 years old and 6' tall. It fit him perfectly including the sleeve which had been a problem with other brands. It is lightweight and he loves it.

very comfortable, all season jacket
I Love how comfortable it is. i am liking the hood aspect of the jacket as it keeps dry from rain and wind. The one thing i did not like was the piece of fabric that is tied to the zipper for the pockets. I lost one already in my first week. I wish they had a better way of attaching it to the zipper

I had been searching for a warm jack for my 16 year old son who is about 6' and has very long arms for months. I recently purchased an extra large Triclimate North Face for him but the sleeves were too short. I finally purchased a jacket he is very pleased with...this extra large Denali Hoodie, it fits him very well with room to spare.

not as great as I wanted it to be, maybe I expected too much
I think the people who absolutely love this jacket have not actually used it other than walking from the car to the mall entrance. I read hundreds of reviews on how great the denali jacket was so I waited for an altrec sale and got the hoodie for ~$90. This jacket stops NO wind, not even some. Its super, super warm with no wind and I'll bet is awesome under a wind-proof shell for warmth but I have high quality sweat-shirts from Nike that stop more wind. As always the north face construction is top-notch. The large fits fine, I'm 6', 215lbs. XL was too long in the sleeves and waist.

live in alaska and never cold!
bought this coat couple weeks ago and haven't left home with out it. I'm a captain of a charter boat and wind is always howling, I can't feel a bit of it with this jacket on love it. We only average 280 inches of rain a year so this fleece under a north face rain shell I never get cold or soaked. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone who faces the elements.

Denali Hoodie
I have had a North Face Fleece since 1997. My work and the elements have made the fleece a #1 item with my job!! During the winter months I never go any where with out it!! I work for the railroad and as an Engineer, I have been waiting for Northface to make a hoodie fleece!!!!!!! I love my Denali Hoodie and I think they waited way too long too make it!!!!

Great Jacket
I'm totally happy with my purchase. The jacket does have a generous cut, but I did not find it super big. I was tempted to get an XL to have room for layering, but went with the L and am happy. I would not say the L fits like a standard XL though, just a little extra room. This is the ultimate fleece.

Been Waiting for a Long, Long Time...
I have owned Denali jacket for quite a number of years. Seems like everyone has one now, but that's a testament to how versatile it is. When it rains, you can use it as a liner, but there were many snowy days when I wished the jacket had a hood--and now it does. It's perfect.

This is an enhancement over the already classic TNF Denali jacket. The added hood improves the warmth of the jacket overall, sealing the collar and protecting your ears and head from cool winds and heat loss. And it looks great too! Remember, Polartec 300 is breathable by design, so you may need more protection in cold, windy conditions. The "fit tip" by Altrec is accurate.

Pretty Friggin Sweet
I like this jacket a lot. It looks really good and feels really cush. Its a really good weight fleece and dries out really nice. I recently took it up in the Olympics and had some pretty heavy snow for a good hour. It dried out really quick and kept me nice and warm. the hood is also a really nice feature. Its super comfy and fleece lined. Theres only a few crappy things. I thought for some reason that it would be kinda windproof but the wind blows right through it and kinda chills my arms. Also, when I wash it the stupid tassels on the zippers always come off, kinda annoying. Other than that I love it.

TNF Men's Denali Hoodie
Just got it yesterday and already it's my instant favorite! It is lightweight, not bulky and the medium-sizing on me is comfortably form-fitted. I love the setup of the pockets on this jacket. Too bad the Denali Hoodie is being discontinued, but great that Altrec had some available in my size and color choice. This morning it was quite chilly, and I have to say that the TNF Denali Hoodie kept me warm while on my routine walk around the business block! I shall be purchasing other products from The North Face for sure! Altrec's CSR was very professional and friendly when I called for more information about said jacket. Another pleasing aspect of Altrec, is that they did ship out fast! Altrec definitely has my business! Very Satisfied Customer Overall! ! !

You wont regret getting it
I have an arsenal of 14 north face products and this recently became my favorite. I personally have never seen a Denali jacket with a hood and from the comments I have gotten I guess no one else has either. I recently used it skiing with only a teeshirt underneath. At a certain point it will let wind in. You will feel no wind and then all the sudden it will be almost as if it has no wind blocking ability. I don't see this as much of an issue especially because it is easily solved with a long sleeve anything underneath. Very warm, looks awesome, will get you noticed, comfortable, practical.

Good Quality
Love this jacket. Let's wind in on the front of the sleeves but the body stays warm and the back of the sleeves are protected with the abrasion reinforcement. If its a really windy day, just throw on a long-sleeve tee and go with this jacket. EXTREMELY comfy... you could sleep in it (I have). Perfect for avid campers and hikers.

A very nice and functional jacket. I am very particular about design, functionality and specs esp the small but important details, ie 3 pc hood design vs a 1 pc design, pit zips, adjustable hem draw elastic string to name a few. I am quite pleased with all of the above with the TNF Denali Hoodie and the customer service and prompt shipping was excellent. I will be buying more items from Altrec in the near future.
