The Flight Series Endurus XCR Boa men's waterproof trail running shoe is our lightest and most custom-fit men's trail runner utilizing the Boa Lacing system in combination with GORE-TEX® XCR and our ultralight bottom platform.

2nd Pair No Complaints
2nd pair of this model, flat wore the other out the sole not the upper, the boa system is great have it one a pair of hunting boots and a pair of light hiking boots as well. Gore-tex is really the way to go in shoes it costs more but pays for itself very quickly. I also order North Face shoes larger they just seem to run a little small. Have not had the dreaded glue separation others seem have had hope not to but I can see why it would ruin your opinion of the shoe. I've beat the daylights out of my other North Face shoes and memories of the old style heavy leather hiking boots taught me to alternate my shoes and boots and even with the Gore-tex I try and do that still and let them dry completely.

Great shoes
Good-lacing system easy to use and very effective and much better than laces in high grass -wide toe box allows ample toe room -retains good support, foot protection and comfort after many uses Note: get at least size 1/2 to 1 size bigger than dress shoe size if you use heavy socks Con: expensive but in my mind worth the price

Fit and function are great
The Endurus XCR Boa sizing run big between 1/2 and 1 size too big. My case was 1/2 size. The Northotic insoles feel great on my feet. THe shoe sticks to the rocks well, preventing slipping. I've been impressed so far. This weekend I'll test out the Gore-tex with some mud and water.

Well designed-very comfortable!
When I bought these shoes, I was a bit skeptical because of the Boa system; but they are awesome. The Boa system has funtioned flawlessly and they were comfortable right out of the box! I bought another pair in a different color:ditto!__ Footjoy is using the Boa system in a golf shoe now!

cool shoe
very comfortable, love this shoe the lacing system rocks cause i'm too lazy to tie my shoes every time. My socks stay dry every time, I use them for everything!

Great winter trail shoe
Shoe feels great - especially if you like a stiffer shoe (compared to something like the Salomon XA Pro). The GoreTex liner really keeps your feet warm. It's certainly breathable enough to allow wicking of sweat, but I wouldn't want to wear these in the summer (but then I wouldn't do this with any XCR show). The support on these is pretty good, although maybe lacking a little in the arch - but good overall for heal strike - maybe comparable to the Adidas Supernova (my personal favorite trail shoe).

I Ware size 13 in Nike. So I ordered your shoes in Size 13. My big toe hits the end (Shoe is to small)

Simply Fantastic
These shoes are great! They are lightweight, comfy and the boa system works flawlessly. Only thing is that they run a little big compared to many other brands. Definitely worth the extra money.

Hope they hold up ??
I'm right at 100 miles on the Endurus XCR's and so far heres my thoughts so far. They were sized one full size large ...i wear a 10, these fit like a size 11. The fit and finish and the litle things stand out. The BOA system is great ...i just hope the thin wires can stand the stress. The system makes it super easy to tweak the fitting of the shoe. The crank in the heel is also the other main part of the system. It works great now....but i can see where dragging it on rocks might take its toll ? It makes getting in and out of shoes seem a chore !! I haven't had a chance to try the Gore-Tex benefits yet but i will soon. I got a good deal when they were on sale at ALTREC. I'm not sure i would pay $130.00 a pair. I do see myself getting more than my usual 400 miles per pair. Plus these will make great hiking shoes verus light boots. I will get another pair ..so that means i like them !!

great trail shoe and the boa system is worthy of the advertisemt
i had to reorder a half size larger than any other shoe as they ran a little short.the boa tightening system is flawless. they are great on trails a little stiff for long asphalt runs. i recommend to any trail ruuner.

Great shoe for a short time period
I work A golf course and bought Endurus shoe for walking in the early morning dew. The shoe was worked great. Then about a month and a half later, my socks started to get wet :0( After that, about another month went by and both shoes were separating right where the cushion and the shoe meet. Altrec said they would refund my money with no hassle what so ever :0) However, after talking to the Altrec operator she told me that I wasn't the first person to complain about the shoe separating. I wore them daily and expected that for $120 and the shoe being made by The North Face, I shouldn't have to worry about breaking the shoe in less than 3 months. Overall, I'm highly disappointed.
