Description

Eh-yup, I'm cooperating with ya; that's the mantra of The North Face Men's Fargo Cargo Pants during a bitter deep freeze – less the psycho killing nature. This tough as nails all-around waterproof breathable shell pant is designed with fully seam sealed HyVent® 2 layer fabric to shed wind, snow, and an abundance of moisture, while a Thermoliner in the seat and knees insulate when you're down and resting, but not out. Crafted with a Park fit (loose, but not too loose) that delivers extra room through hips, thighs, knees, and cuff, this rider centric snow pant is adorned with environment controlling inner zip thigh vents, a StretchVent™ gaiter with gripper, and Chimney Venting™ system. To block out snow a pant-a-lock system does a one piece hook up with your favorite TNF jacket, snap-cuff gussets seal at the cuffs, and adjustable waist tabs ensure a snug active fit. Reinforced with edge guards at the cuff, The North Face Men's Fargo Cargo Pants also features a Recco® rescue reflector for an easier search in the event your feet up in a tree well or an avalanche runs you down from behind. Eh-yup, we're cooperating with ya!

Best ski pants ever
February 15, 2011

I ordered these pants a couple weeks ago for a ski trip. I have used them several times for sledding and just playing around in the snow. The fit is gos, they are uber waterproof, and work well with the coat. Great job NF!

Great Product
March 05, 2013

These pants are great, they keep you dry and are light weight. I recently went on a trip to Whistler and these pants were just what I needed, it was wet at the bottom of the mountain and snowy at the top and I was dry all day long. I do like the pull string that keeps the bottom of the pants off the ground at your heels, great idea! They do run a little big, I'm 5'11" 175lbs with a 32 waist and I got a medium and the fit perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Great value

Nice pants, but not teal blue
March 27, 2011

These are very nice pants. Unfortunately I had to return them for two reasons. 1) The Monterey Blue was not turquoise, as I hoped. It's a very nice blue, but not quite the greenish teal I was looking for. A more accurate picture of the blue can be seen under Burton Slasher cargo pants on this site. 2) The pants have a very nice fit and seem very durable with excellent materials, but they are just a little too wide for me. This is the Park Fit, North Face's largest fit. A lot of snowboarder's like this, but I'm looking for a slightly slimmer look. These look really nice and don't look baggy, but from about mid thigh to the bottom is too wide for my liking. Didn't get to try them in snow, just in my house!

Nice pants. The only con is that they are very wide at the bottom, and there are only two buttons so there is not much room for adjustment. I would recommend these pants.

Rain and Snow Proof!
January 02, 2011

I selected TNF`s Fargo cargo pant based solely on the fact that it has cargo pockets. After wearing this pant almost daily, for the last three weeks, I`ve not been disappointed. It has been rain and snow proof. It is very comfortable and the Recco reflector is a bonus. When paired with Patagonia`s Capilene 3 midweight bottoms, it has proven to be warm as well. I`m 6` 1, 195lb`s and am a 34 waist. I ordered the large.

Size problem
February 23, 2012

The material , colour and all conditons of pants is excellent. But size is much much larger than I think about it. I generally use 52-54 size , I want XL for this pants. I am 90 kgs. But I think this pants are suitable for 120 kgs mans. I am very surprised.

Love these pants!
February 28, 2011

I bought these for my boyfriend. They look great on him - super cute in the rear. Pockets are plentiful. Venting system is great. Just returned from 3 days of skiing. Temperature varied from warm/sunny to super cold/blizzardy. Pants were perfect with thin polar fleece base. Would love to have same cut in ladies.

cargo pant
December 07, 2011

These are a pretty decent pair of cold weather pants. I would recommend them for snow boarders vice skiing. They fit a little bigger than what I thought they would be around the legs but are a perfect fit around the waist. Make sure you pickup a waterproof belt or suspenders...like I said they run a bit "baggy". They are my all around cold weather pants...won't travel without them!

Good for the price
May 21, 2013

Good buy for the price. North Face quality is good. Pants are lightly insulated good enough for me as i run hot and have used them in -7c (hi teen's in F) weather with only demon shorts as a base. Waterproof is good but not comparable to Gore-Tex. I wear a 32-33 jeans and I took a medium regular length and it fits well. 5'10 195lbs athletic build.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Great value
