Excellent materials and workmanship.
The bib is great, but I have to try it under ski conditions, probably December 2008. The bib fits well with plenty of pockets including a large pocket in the chest area. The zippers at the bottom of the legs make it easy to put on. The cloth is thick and seems it will take some abuse in service.

Solid ski bib
I used TNF's Men's Foundation bib for a recent spring ski trip to Telluride, CO. The bib definitely withstood the fresh powder (even when subject to my awesome wipeouts) and cold mornings as I stayed warm and dry. Even as the temperature warmed up in the afternoon, the zippered crotch vents were like a personal AC for my loins. The side zipper is a bit awkward in that it wasn't the most intuitive way to slip in and out of a bib. Also, the fly unzips from bottom to top and is fairly well hidden (so much so that I spent my first trip to the bathroom trying to find a way to urinate out of the side entry zipper). I wore the bib over a thermal skin and this was perfect for 30-45 degree skiing. Also, I'm 6 feet tall and about 180 lbs and had no problem with the size--while the bib does have belt loops, I felt that the suspenders were secure enough to keep me from streaking down the slopes. The cargo pockets were large and in charge, at least enough to comfortably fit a wallet, cell phone, and camera in a single pocket. In addition to the cargo pockets, it has two other pants pockets and one kangaroo pocket on the bib. Customer service was great--Altrec shipped it out before I seemed to have placed my order. I would certainly recommend this bib!

Fantastic Product
These Bibs are excellent for both on piste and off piste skiing. Freedom of movement allows for up-skiing without binding and unencumbered bumps skiing. Highly recommended.

Love it!
I love tis bib! It looks great and its very functional. The pant legs look straight legged but there are hidden gaiters underneath that keep snow out of your boots. The pants are double insulated so you can ski on a 20 degree day and wear only thermal underwear underneath. There are pockets galore to keep your stuff and they are easily eaccessible and all are zippered. There's a zip fly and vents for when its too warm. Great value!

You will not find a better deal on any bibs
I got these after looking all winter for some bibs to keep the snow out better, and even though I was trying to hold out for a deal on Arcteryx, I like inseam vents and lots of pockets then I found these. The quality seems excellent but of course they haven't stood the test of time yet so hopefully that works out. I'm just under 6' and weigh 170 and the mediums are a great fit.

Good bib, warm, waterproof, flexible.
Overall, a very good pair of bib pants. They are warm without being too worm, texture is comfortable, rear (and all the rest of course)is waterproof. I think you need a belt to avoid going too low on your waist (elastic bands being... elastic). Very good for layering: you can ski with just one thermal layer underneath and feel OK. Happy with the purchase and would recommend it. I would have put the cargo pockets (or at least one of them) below the knee (like for pilots) so you won't get hurt if you fall on your thigh with an object in the pocket).

Above average comfort and snow proof, side-zipper not great
The bib is thin-lined and perfect for layering with thermal skins. My guy is used to the convenience of the on-off front zipper so, this "side zipper experience" is more time-consuming and more difficult to reach and keep things tucked in when you're trying to close it. He loves all the easy to reach pockets.
