Men's Freedom Pants 4.7 5 37 37
Great pants with reasonable price Great pants with reasonable price. You may order the usual size of yours for the comfort around your waist but the leg widthh at the bottom is a bit wide. So if you eager to get skinny skiing pants like classic ones, you better try other brands. Functionality in the ski slope hasn't been checked yet but no doubt abt it. January 24, 2012
Nice Value I have to say that the reason I purchased the Freedom Pants was strictly based on price, and with that in mind, they offer a great value. My only dislike is the length. I thought they would be a bit longer. I use them only as "adult snow pants" and for that purpose, they are great. December 23, 2011
Great Product I needed a great snow pant for snowboarding and back country hiking and the Freedom pant fit the bill. I especially like the vented zips which allow me to hike all day and stay cool without building up sweat. There is plenty of storage in the pockets and the stitching is nicely done. I would definitely recommend these to a friend. December 10, 2011
The North Face = Quality I have to say I have owned a bunch of different snow pants and these are by far the best fitting, best quality pants I've owned. I now understand why most skiers where North Face on the mountain. Quality is all I have to say. Buy these. Do keep in mind the reg. fit is a little long. I'm 5'9" and went with the short due to other reviews. Reg fit would be fine for a 5'11" + tall person. November 20, 2011
Price right / Fit right / Work right Finally a pant that fits me right, I bought the Med Short as I'm only 5'8" and most pants are just to long but these fit perfect. Not some baggy jibber kid pant, not tight either but just a perfect fit to allow layering and/or movement. Love the Asphalt color too as it's not the norm and if it's as waterproof and durable as the HyVent jacket I've had for past two seasons I'm golden. One gripe is that it could be more vented, but hey for the price I can deal. October 8, 2011
The Northface Freedom Gore-Tex pants These pants are a great deal. I just bought my second pair, first pair stayed completely h2o proof for 6 ski seasons of avg. 30 days per year. Just throw a pair of longjohns under on extreme cold days to stay warm. Roomy & tough. July 17, 2011
Great Ski Pants These pants are great on the slopes. I was worried about warmth, as these pants are not insulated. But I have had no problems down to -20 with stiff winds. These fit very baggy compared to other ski pants, but I like that style for range of motion. I am a 36 inseam, and I bought the longs, fit was perfect. Great pants for a good price. Would definitely buy again. March 28, 2011
Another great product by northface! I've used these pants five times while snowboarding in WV. No sign of wear and tear yet. The quality is unmatched. The waistband is nice and soft on the inside, and you can even adjust the size with velcro straps on the side. Fits a little baggy but thats the style these days. The bottom holds up really well, high quality materials that you'd expect from northface. Completely waterproof, windproof. Kept me warm in 8-10 Degree weather with 20-30 knot winds. Big pockets and the vents do help quite a bit when inside . All my friends were jealous. Get a pair now before the season is over! January 23, 2011
perfect length Very satisfied. The LONG length was surprisingly perfect for me standing at 6'6", normally wearing pants/jeans in size 33W x 36.5L. I was worried that the LARGE size might be too big in the waist, but it was not. I used these pants for 3 days of skiing in Idaho with temps in the teens and was never cold. Comparable to a loose fitting boot cut jean. Cannot comment on waterproofing as it was sunny every day. January 23, 2011
These are good pants, very high quality, fit well, but beware lots of leg room. I ordered a small (30 in waist) and the legs are incredibly baggy while the waist fits well. All told, not a big deal - just know you are getting a very wide leg on these pants. January 17, 2011
Great purchase The pants are well made, provide warmth and are extremely comfortable. I can't comment about the durability yet as I've only used them a handful of times. My girlfriend has the same pair in women's and swears by them. I would highly recommend this product. January 8, 2011
The North Face Freedom pants are very warm, comfortable and stylish. The cargo pocket is very convinient. These pants are worth every penny!! January 5, 2011
Good Value The Freedom pants is a great product for the value. The cargo pocket comes in handy. The adjustable waist tabs is very convenient. I like the mesh on the vents. I don't feel exposed when I open the vents on warmer days. Service was good and shipped in a reasonable amount of time. December 28, 2010
The North Face power pant is a great product and they come in the right size medium long. The price was right and fast service on the order. December 17, 2010
solid pair of pants I haven't been able to properly use the pants yet, however, I was impressed with the fit around the waist. The velcro straps allow you to get the waist snug and secure. The pants are a little baggy, but it makes sense, you want them to fit over your boots. I'm a little over six feet, but I'm skinny, so I ordered a large inseam and a medium-sized waist and I'm happy with the fit. I am confident the pants will work well in the snow. December 9, 2010
Perfect for the slopes Great fitting pants, that kept me dry on back to back days. Wore them without a baselayer and didn't feel the cold once. I used them on Australian slopes that were slushy. August 10, 2010
Sized but not tested I got this in June. Yes, summer. The reason was only one - Medium Long size. I had been waiting for this size for quite a while but never was able to find any. I am 6ft with long legs. This Freedom pants fit perfect. The Hyvent is soft to touch and I was burning in an AC room in about 5 minutes. But as I open the zippers on the side (none on the inside thighs :( ), I instantly feel the circulation. The shipping from Altrec was very good. I paid $128 in total. July 7, 2010
Great Fit This is the best ski/snow pant I have found. Has a slightly relaxed fit which is great as I have bigger thighs which makes them extremely comfortable. completely waterproof as far as I can tell, liked them so much bought a 2nd pair in different color. April 1, 2010
Great Pants Light and comfortable. It was below freezing everyday and didn't need a base layer. Got the Grey and wish I had the black though, but still a great buy. March 8, 2010
Much baggier fit than I expected Typical North Face quality at a great price. Plenty warm with only a pair of fleece running tights underneath. However, I was surprised and a little dismayed by how baggy they are and how wide in the cuff. February 8, 2010
I will order more I purchased this as a gift and I really like the look. February 7, 2010
Freedom Pants Nice overall fit for me. Material is on par with other similar cost ski pants. The nylon lining inside the pants seems to be static-free. The only thing I'd like to see changed is making the leg side zippers extend all the way from the waist to the bottom of each leg. The zipper only extends from the upper thigh to the knee area January 20, 2010
Nice pants I like the pants, however I thought I was ordering the insulated pair. I ordered the non-insulated pair my mistake. Am returning for the insulated Pair. January 4, 2010
Great Pants I ordered these in the wicked grey and love them! However typically my pants size sits between 34-36 and I was tempted to go with the large, however after trying them on in a store I decided to go one size smaller to a medium and they fit perfectly and weren't that baggy as many other snow pants are! January 2, 2010
Great pants Light yet sturdy. I like the pockets too. North Face quality. Only regret is that I couldn't tell the difference between the colors from the website, but I like it anyways. December 27, 2009
Freedom Pants Nice pants, great for the winter December 22, 2009
Don't buy, not worth the price. THESE PANTS ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Started soaking after only about 10 days of normal wear. October 11, 2009
awesome pants! I wore them over the weekend and ran into a bit of slush in a few places and they preformed wonderfully! Definitely my new favorites!! December 1, 2008
Great gear 400 days skiing and just ready for a new pair! Lightweight and great for backcountry and hut trips, as well. September 1, 2008
comfortable dry and breathable great pants great fro any activity which takes you outside and in the snow wether boarding skiing or a snowball fight March 27, 2005
great buy for the money I wore these for about 6 days of skiing at Vail. They always kept me warm and dry, and the vents came in really handy on the warmer days. For under a hundred bucks you can't go wrong. March 21, 2005
Fantastic Item These pants performed great at Whistler, BC. The weather ranged from sunny and warm to windy, rainy, and snowing in the same week. These pants performed well under all conditions. The chimney vents work well and the HyVent is as good as Gore-Tex. I will continue to purchase TNF products. March 14, 2005
The pant really lived up to it's billing. It performed very well and was very comfortable. March 13, 2005
Well made and work great These pants keep me dry and comfortable on cold Northern VT Mountains. February 26, 2005
Water Proof These pants are great in winter. Working in the snow, whether it is shoveling or skiing in it, has been much better since I bought these pants. Not one ounce of water crept through. February 21, 2005
GREAT PANTS! Great fit & features. I liked the stove venting when really started skiing hard. January 17, 2005
highly recommended Great snowboard pants. They are very lightweight but adequately lined. Like other TNF stuff - they are durable. September 10, 2004
