These are excellent shoes, they do not need any breaking in and are absolutely comfortable . I've worn them daily since I got them. They make good running shoes and work well for someone who stands on their feet all day. The colors are a little different than the images displayed but look good regardless.

These are my second pair of North Face shoes. I bought these shoes, put em on right out of the box. In a nut shell, I hate to take them off even to go to sleep at night. They're that comfortable.

these shoes are the best for wet conditions, i play disc golf in the morning all the time. when the grass is soaking wet. My feet normally get soaked by the back 9, not in these my feet where dry the whole round, and hiking in them is great

Hiked 3 miles the 1st day with these shoes. Very comfortable, no break-in required. Compared to my Moab gtx's, these are more comfortable and appear to have a better grip. Don't know how warm these will get in the summertime but they feel slightly cooler than the Moab's. 1st impressions, these are a winner !

First pair of North Face shoes. No break in period. The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Did a 10 mile hike through knee-deep snow with these shoes in the Colorado mountains(no snow shoes attached). Unbelievable performance. Would recommend these in a second! Get a pair and go anywhere. Just make sure you double or triple knot the laces.

I have never purchased footwear from The North Face. I bought this shoe because of the color, and the look was better than expected. It also fits great.

This is my third pair of North Face hiking shoes. The quality and workmanship is excellent. They are comfortable and supportive on all types of terrain. They are rugged and last. I would recommend these shoes to anyone into light to moderate hiking.

This is a lightweight and extremely comfortable hiking shoe with excellent traction. I tried them out on a quick Camelback Mountain hike and they performed very well - great grip. I've yet to try them in a wet environment but I am confident the traction will be good.

Great shoe. I'm a girl that wears a 10.5 shoe size and they didn't carry that size in the women's hedgehog. Size 9 men's worked out great. I've always loved this shoe. However, the men's shoe have more of a pointy toe which I don't like.

These are my second pair of Hedgehogs. The only problem I had with the first pair is that one of the little plastic eyes for the laces broke about a year and half into using them. Hope that doesn't happen with my new pair.
Extremely comfortable with tons of support. I use these shoes to hike in the woods with my dog and to get around in the city on the weekends. They are a little heavy at first but once you get used to them, it is like walking on air.

They're comfortable and breathable, and much grippier on wet rocks and pavement than my North Face Ultra 104's. Time will tell about durability.

Perfect for high-impact trail running, as they are actually water-proof, which is rare to see in a x-trainer. (It's certainly a heavier x-trainer rather than a "light-hiker".) Feels solid so far, certainly recommended.
