Very, very nice coat for the winter. I live in Chicago, where it gets pretty cold, and this coat protects me from the elements. Not to mention that it's pretty stylish as well. It fits a little bit large, I found. I typically wear a large, but I did have to bump it down to a medium for this coat. I am still able to fit a shirt and sweater inside though, with room to spare. It's a bit hefty on the price, but hey, it's TNF and worth the cost.

This is the first ever TNF jacket that I have ever purchased in my entire life and I was never disappointed the first time I fitted it considering I bought it online..im expecting that I would return this for a bigger size. I'm 5'9 & 170 Lbs. and I tried only Small and it fits and looks good with my body frame. Its extremely warm and water resistant. Not that bulk just as I'm expecting it.I also like the size of the hood.. enough fit with wearing a helmet on it. just enough allowance with my hips.... This is really a good product that I would recommend to everyone who is looking for everyday winter use.

Great Winter Coat

First time Northface buyer. This coat is warm! We live in West Michigan and the winters are long and fridgid! I was looking for a stylish, warm black jacket and this one is it. The only down fall is we went to the mall during a blizzard and the coat kept me warm from the car to the door. It only took 15 minutes before I had to take it off. It is bulky and cumbersome to carry. Pros outweigh the one con.
