This is a great jacket, if you use it for it's purpose, and one of my favorites. It's got a beautiful fit that hangs on your body just right, and basically the best hood in the history of jackets.

Perfect shell
January 23, 2012

Have had this jacket a little over a week and have worn it in freezing rain and snowboarding in 32 deg. weather. The jacket held up to all my expectations. The fit is good. I wear a medium and I am 5'7" 150lbs. Love this jacket.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance
Cons: Cost

Kishtwar is Kool

Great shell for wetter climates. Don't expect insulation, so multiple layers would be necessary for the cold. The jacket is quite breathable. Hood is a nice touch and comes in handy in rainy weather. Not technically waterproof, but does a good job of repelling for a period of time. I originally ordered a medium and while it fit, it was tight under the arms. I returned it and altrec sent a large which I like the fit of much better. (no hassles and done quickly) A bit spendy for a non-insulated shell, but if you're active outside, you'll love it.

Kishtwar + Polartec = Awesome
October 12, 2010

This jacket uses the latest and greatest Polartec Power Shield Pro; unlike a conventional membrane it uses a polyurethane nanofiber layer to have the best blend of breath-ability and water barrier. The jacket itself is very lightweight, appears to be very durable and has an excellent cut. Just the right dash of fashion as well with the counter-coloration.
