Syncline Long Sleeve Shirt
November 02, 2011

This shirt is great for anyone who doesn't like to iron on a daily basis. My husband wears these shirts daily in the fall through winter in the cooler/cold winter months for work. They are comfortable, soft and durable. They can withstand many washings and I have never had to iron one yet!!!

Great shirt
November 01, 2011

I love these shirts from The North Face. I have one in each color and wear them all the time. The fabric is soft and comfortable. It breathes well and dries very fast. The fit is great with long shirt tails that don't ride up when I raise my arms. I highly recommend this shirt.

Handsome, Comfortable & Versatile Shirt
May 04, 2011

I recently found this shirt while shopping on-line for outdoor work shirts. It's an instant favorite of mine and I've since ordered several more in different colors. It's a great looking shirt - you can dress up or down with these. The material is super soft and breathes well - feels great to the touch and next to bare skin. I haven't had it long enough to know for sure, but the material seems thick & sturdy enough to last for many years of regular use. The fit is true to size (I'm 6'5", 215 lbs - usually wear XL and these fit me just right). I especially like the length - plenty long enough to wear un-tucked, but they also look great tucked into jeans or cargo shorts. The button-up sleeves make this a very versatile shirt - but if you've got seriously thick arms (bodybuilders), the sleeves may be too tight or a no-go when rolled-up. Overall quality is excellent. They are definitely worth the price, and an absolute steal if you can find them at a discount.

Nothing special, but it was on sale.....

This shirt is not that stylish, but wears well with jeans. The sleeve length is rather short for an XXL. Generally, the sizes run small, so order a size higher than usual.

Quality shirt, good service, great price!
March 02, 2011

This is an excellent shirt. The stitching, material, and overall quality is exactly what you would expect from North Face, except at about 50% (or so) less cost then you would probably find at a retail location. It arrived, on time, in perfect condition-- double sealed in plastic. I usually refrain from purchasing clothing online, but with the excellent customer service and exceptional return policy I feel very confident that I will be making many future purchases from altrec.com.

Love This Soft, Soft, Shirt
February 02, 2011

I've bought a number of North Face Syncline shirts over the years. I love the feel of the soft fabric. It's a good shirt for cool weather; I wear it in the mountains in winter and also on chilly summer days. Perhaps because the fabric is so soft, it does wear a bit quicker than my other shirts. The collar and pocket seem to be the spots that wear through first. One odd aspect of the modal fabric is that it feels very stiff when coming out of the washer, and then softens up wonderfully in the dryer. I have never air-dried the shirt, and do not know whether it would remain stiff or get soft when air-dried.

Pros: fabric touch
Cons: Wears quickly

Warmth, Comfort and Style
December 30, 2010

I first purchased a shirt like this two years ago. I now have a total of five (different colors) in my closet, and I highly recommend them. These shirts have warn very well, they keep their shape, resist stains, and the colors stay bright. After about 18 months, the collar started to show sighes of ware, because of a heavy stubble on my face and neck. I may have to retire the older shirts because of the collar, otherwise the shirts look nearly new still. I hope that Northface brings back the red color to compliment the Blue, Gray, Brown, and Green. It would also be nice if they added Black to the color offerings.
