Description

The sharp sting of frigid air in the lungs, early morning sun slanting over hallowed bowls, some No Code on the pod, and not a track in site. Yeah, it's gonna be a good day.

Inspired by Pearl Jam and outfitted by The North Face, the Men's Lukin Triclimate Jacket offers 3-in-1 versatility and performance driven design. The shell features HyVent® Proweave 2-Layer protection that is both waterproof and breathable, creating an impenetrable barrier between you and the elements while still allowing perspiration to evaporate quickly before it turns into chilling moisture against your skin. The removable liner is insulated for warmth and is also reversible, one side sporting a flannel design reminiscent of the Seattle scene that changed the face of music. Wear the entire system together on the bone chilling days of deep winter, then separately as the mountain (and life) demands. Packed with rider specific features but styled for everyday, The North Face Lukin Triclimate Jacket for men is the only one you need this winter. And spring. And fall.

Great Value
March 12, 2012

Other than running a little on the large side this jacket is a great value. The liner looks great on it's own, and I imagine over time I will get more use out of that then the shell. Bound for Lake Tahoe in a week, and I'm confident between the shell and liner I will have more than enough options to keep me warm/comfortable.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Exceed our expectation
April 20, 2011

This is our first cloth from the North Face. Several weeks ago my wife chatted with her good friends. They highly recommeded TNF. So we bought this one to give it a try. We were very impressive the build quality and all the details in this jacket. Last weekend the weather was very windy and cold with a little bit rain drop. This jacket kept me warm and dry. The price of TNF is higher but every penny worth.

great value
April 20, 2011

My season for snowboarding was pretty much over by the time I bought this jacket, so I have yet to take it up to the mountain. But I have worn the liner around and it is definitely warm. Overall it fits pretty large, but that's fine for me. Looking forward to taking this to the slopes next season to see how breathable it is.

Pros: Build quality

I bought this jacket for a 10 day March ski trip to Banff Canada. The jacket was very warm with the liner & shell on windy/cold days in the teens and was easily converted to a warm weather shell for the sunny days in the 30s. This is my third North Face ski jacket and has become my favorite after this ski trip. Numerous pockets allowed me to leave the backpack at home. The plaid reversible liner jacket was warm when temps hit the 30's. Altrec shipped the jacket quickly and it arrived just in time for my trip. I would recommend this jacket for anyone out there that is into snow skiing or anything else cold weather related.

Best jacker ever
March 20, 2011

Awesome jack. I love the inside jacket, I wear it to work all the time. Love the fact that it has plenty of pockets to hold all my gear. Took it to Mountain High and it was the perfect jacket to use.

Warm Jacket with great wind protection
March 14, 2011

This is the first north face jacket i have owned and i am very pleased with the build quality and the warming properties. I normally get cold very quickly and this jacket has been a great help. I don't have anything negative to say about this jacket after using it for a weekend in Lake Arrowhead where it got down to the lower 30s. I also love the warming pockets. The triclimate feature is also awesome as you can wear the innerjacket both ways and is very useful.

Love the jacket and the service
February 26, 2011

I got a great deal on this jacket on altrec, and absolutely love the jacket itself. Very warm, three jackets in one really! I can wear it when it's really cold or just cool... Love the flannel addition. Came the day altrec said it would--- happy customer.

Good coat for winter
February 22, 2011

This coat is worthwhile for its price. And the high performance of the coat impressed me a lot. Btw, I hope that I could get the discount for this coat, and get another one for backup when I come back to the Northeast.

Great Jacket
February 14, 2011

I bought this jacket for my boyfriend, and he loves it. It is very warm! He wore it in Killington, VT, and he told me that he would never go back to his old jacket. I would definitely recommend this jacket to skiers!

Great Versatile Jacket
February 04, 2011

I bought this jacket for a week long ski trip in Sun Valley, ID. The jacket was exceptionally warm when worn with the liner & shell on windy/cold days but converted to a warm weather shell for the sunny days in the 30s. The pockets were abundant and easy to use. The plaid reversible liner jacket was fun (and warm) to wear around town in the evenings. I would recommend this jacket for winter/spring skiing/snowboarding, snowshoeing, and hiking.
