Description

Ripping the front side 'Main Run' under the Golden Eagle Gondola in 50 cm of uncut takes the iron nerve of a no-fall run under watchful eyes, and The North Face Men's Maineline Jacket to seal your powder fate. Getting your snow fix in this full featured, insulated jacket, its waterproof breathable fully seam sealed construction partners with its adjustable EZD-tach hood for laying down cold smoke contrails. Lined with Heatseeker™ Eco insulation, this all-weather shell parka keeps your toasty until your thighs flame out from the 2000 vertical of powder paradise. Its powder skirt with pant-a-locks have you connected to your favorite TNF shell pants for a tight snow seal, while hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs block out wrist gaps. Reaching the tram line-up, you break open the rear bicep zip vents to let off excess steam, crack the zip chest pocket for a lap count, dive into the handwarmer zip pockets for energy food, take a goggle cloth out of wrist accessory pocket for a wipe down, check your tunes in the internal media security pocket, and secure the internal goggle pocket. Picking your next line from the lift above, the TNF Men's Maineline Jacket is ready to ride the powder wave again and again if you can just get there first.

For the mild winter our area has had I am very satisfied. It will be interesting to see how the coat is in colder weather. But overall extremely satisfied.

GREAT JACKET FITS NICE
March 09, 2012

I was concerned this jacket would be tight, but went ahead and still ordered a large. Usually north face tends to run small for me, but this one fit just right, and still has a little room. So far so good for warmth.

Pros: Build quality, Performance, Great value

seems like a great jacket
February 25, 2012

Just got it out of the box so really don't know how it will stand up to the elements. It fits great, is well made and seems like it will do great in the outdoors too. The one dissappointment I have is with the de-tatchable hood. What are you supposed to do with it while you're skiing and not using it, stuff it in your pocket and feel the big bulge all day? Hasn't North Face figured out a way to roll it up and store it behind the collar somehow?

Pros: Build quality, Great value
Cons: Bad design
