Built with GORE-TEX® Pro 3L fabric and utilizing Keprotec® Kevlar® fabric in ankle kickpatch zones, the Mammatus Bib will keep you dry even in the burliest of environments. With a performance fit, adjustable suspenders, full side zips and the new Crescent Drop Seat, these bibs will move with you and not interfere with layers or your harness. great bibs; not inexpensive, but worth the $$
Good fit - not snug, but not overly loose, either. The first day I used them it was WINDY: slows-you-down-as-you're-skiing-a-double-diamond windy. These things stopped it dead. I was amazed at how well the fabric worked. I didn't get wet at all (although it wasn't snowing and I don't fall much) , but I do sweat, and I was dry dry dry. It's just a shell, but the triple-layer Goretex sure does the job. All the zippers work great, too. Altrec was great. The sale price was more than $100 less than everyone else. And their customer service really worked with me on the exchange of the smallish-sized Mtn Hardware (the XLg was smaller than the Lg bibs I was replacing! I now know that Mtn Hrdwr sizing is about a size small.) Very pleased - both performance and value - with purchase.
