Great jacket for cool weather and layering. Even use extensively on sunny days on the slopes. For those with a narrow waist the performance fit is great. Wear it so much I bought another color!

I am 6ft 190# thin, athletic build. I tried last years momentum jacket on and it fit great but I did not purchase it. I purchased this years jacket over the internet. The fit is not the same. The sleeves are more baggy, no monkey thumbs, and it is too short for me. I like the athletic fit and the stretch material is great but I am giving this one to my bro.

I love it, when i hiking on mountain, this jacket can prevent the wind into your neck and keep you warm. The jacket is light so you can tie it on your waist. I will take it to the Yosemite National park this month, and defintly it will be necessity equipment!

This is a great jacket that looks awesome and fits your body perfectly. It is so light weight that you don't feel anything. It repels some water, but does not work well to protect you from wind. It is a great but for the price. You may want to add another layer during harsh winter.

Great for layering or alone for cool weather. Not windproof like a Apex bionic and much lighter. Very comfortable with a close fit. Great for running biking hiking etc.

This a good jacket for athletic activity in mild weather but don't think you going to train in the dead of winter with it. Although the fabric keeps moisture out for a while, it does little to block the wind. The size is also a slight issue. I'm only 6' and I wish the jacket was an inch or two longer. All in all a decent buy for the money if your looking for another layer you can shed during cold weather training.

Excellent fleece, great deal

Just got this about a week or so ago and man is this thing sweet. Very lightweight and packable. Very very warm. I wore it a shell over an under armour sleevless tank to go running at night. This thing keeps u toasty, super warm. Granted its not quite as cold this year as last on the east coast (NJ) but I'm looking forward to putting this through its paces. I got primarily to use a soft shell on warmer days and fall day trips in the ramapo highlands and High Point. I also plan to use it as a mid-layer for snowboarding this year. The Monkey cuffs are excellent and the sleeves have a good fit but still stretch when you bend over to tie shoes or reach overhead. I'm 6'5" tall and 185lbs. The X-lrg fits like a glove and still has room under it for a base layer and mid-weight long sleeve top or a heavy weight top alone. Overall A great value, especially if u get one of the discontinued colors. Also, while no specifically waterproof, it held up well to a few early morning showers. No water got in, but I did get a little clammy on the inside from sweat. All in all I highly recommend it for it technical ability, confort, quality and price. Not to mention that everyone who's seen it asks me where they can get one. I tell the Altrec.com of course. Great service from these guys. this will be my 4 or fifth order in as many weeks. It's light but warm (especially if you're moving around a lot) and doesn't restrict movement. There are no monkey thumbs on the latest models, and it's a little shorter than I'm used to, but nothing I can't deal with. It might seem a bit pricy, but you're paying for North Face quality, which is superior.

I ordered a similar jackets for my son-in-law and daughter last year for christmas. They loved them and wear them all the time. I saw these and thought I would get some shopping done for christmas. I know my son-in-law will enjoy wearing this one for running and casual wear. North Face I feel is always great quality and lasts.

I bought this jacket for my husband. It seemed true-to-size and fits him well. It was great to take on vacation because it was windproof and lightweight enough to travel well. I never fail to be impressed by the quality of a North Face product.

This is an great jacket and is surprisingly warm. It looks like a jacket that isn't for the cold, but it works for me. It is on the expensive side, but if you are looking for a lightweight, warm jacket, I highly recommend it!

Although waterproofing is the only thing it lacks, I lost my first Momentum jacket in an unfortunate accident after two years of constant wear. The fit is comfortable and perfect for the average to skinny build. May I say flattering as well on anybody, as far as active wear goes. Comfortable indoors and a level of breathability welcomed hiking any 14ner. Great for biking and early morning activity before the sun begins to warm-up the world. The asphalt/black color is a perfect quick jacket for any casual outfit as well. About to purchase my second and will keep coming back.

This jacket is a great layering piece but the arms are a bit long. I did not really care for the thumb holes but if that is something you want then by all means this is an excellent purchase. Overall, a good product.

This is probably one of the coolest North Face jackets I have ever purchased. I have worn this to the gym and to the office. Fits great and I plan to use it as a layering piece for the ski season!

Great Jacket..If you are looking for something to protect you on cool days this is your jacket. Nice slim flit, breathes well, and for me is ideal in temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees. For active outdoor people this is a must

I've owned this jacket for about three years now, and I love it. It's very comfortable, warm, lightweight, and it zips right into my North Face Mountain Light Jacket as an insulating liner. It's still in great shape after a lot of use, which is typical for North Face quality products.

This awesome Fleece Jacket can be used for so many purposes! E.g. as a great middle layer when I ski, as a presentable fleece on a flight, as the (beyond doubt) preferred fleece to wear under my bike-jacket during the fall and winter. I think you got the picture by now. This is the fleece I use the most!

Dont expect to be warm in windy weather. This is a great jacket for casual use. I will use it in weather 40 degrees (F) and up otherwise i will throw a wind wall over it. Overall very happy with this jacket. It has very comfortable stretchy material. I am 6'1 210 and the large fits me well.

Love this jacket...wear it all the time! Lightweight and comfortable with quality North Face design...it's moderately water resistant, and does a great job keeping you warm (considering it's a thin jacket). Fits true to size, but an athletic cut so it's meant to be slightly tight.

Very useful for wearing in layers during winter or by itself during autumn or unexpected cool days. This jacket is light, easy to pack and comfortable to wear. It is also water proof which also will help in rainy days. Its line is elegant which is usable to wear in many different situations. Overall a great jacket !!

The Momentum jacket is surprisingly warm and wind resistant for its weight. I also like the close athletic fit but be aware that the sizes actually run a little smaller than standard. The sleeves are typical North Face length (too long) but the monkey hole is a nice feature.

Fantastic layering or spring/fall jacket. It is very lightweight but built with the solid North Face design and technology. Moderately water resistant and does a great job keeping you toasty for a thin jacket. Fits true to size, but a bit on the athletic cut so it is meant to be slightly tight.

Great light jacket for doing just about anything...perfect for spring or fall, and it repels rain nicely too. Great for playing sports or running. The material is very flexible and comfortable...this makes the jacket. Try the bright citronelle green color!!!

Was looking for a liner for a Northface jacket I'd purchased last year from the Summit series, and the fleece I'd ordered this year from the Flight series worked perfectly. I'm from FL and working in Baltimore this winter downtown, and this jacket under my previously purchased jacket is awesome -- keeps me toasty warm and comfortable for those 6 am treks to the Medical Center for work. Highly recommend if looking for a liner!

This is a very practical and nice jacket and good for spring weather. However, the sleeves run long. I wear a large in TNF clothing but the sleeves on this jacket are ridiculously long.
