Description

You don't need to move to the Rocky Mountains of Montana to appreciate the warmth, dexterity and durability of these Men's Montana Gloves from The North Face. Over the past few seasons The North Face adopted a three-snowflake rating system for their cold weather clothing accessories. The Men's Montana Glove rates in the middle of their scale--not too light and not overly warm. It's the ideal sort of handwear insulation you need for the dry powder snow weather often encountered along the Rocky Mountain Range throughout winter. The Montana Glove for men features 150 g Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation along the back of the hand with lighter 100 g Heatseeker™ along the palm and finger areas for improved articulation. The North Face used rugged polyurethane along the front of the fingers and palms, but some snowboarders might prefer a glove or mitten with more reinforcement coverage. Two-ply HyVent® helps keep water outside the glove while still allowing perspiration to escape. If you need a ski or snowsport glove with a moderate balance of insulating warm and vapor transfer, The North Face Men's Montana Gloves are affordably within your reach.

Great gloves
March 26, 2012

I've used these gloves for 1 week ski. They were comfortable and warm (min temperature was -5 C) and stayed dry inside (both when got a lot of snow and when the temperature was higher and I was sweating). The gloves are like new after this intensive week.

awesome gloves
March 14, 2012

Even though we live in southern California, you never know when the big storm will come through and leave a wonderland just an hour away from the California shore. I bought these for my son, last time we went up to the local Mts, his hands got cold in fleece gloves after an hour of snowball, stick throwing for our springer spaniels. He really liked the gloves and went on to point out the cool features, sercet pocket, goggle frost remover, adjustable strap & sinch. They are warm with soft lining, and very felxible for making the perfect snowball. There is a storm headed our way this weekend-he will be ready with these awesome gloves from The North Face. Thank you Altrec.

Great Glove
February 10, 2012

My husband wore these while being outside for 4 hours at a time at 40 degrees and said they were great. His hands never got cold. He also added the heat packs to the gloves and they were still as comfortable.

Great features on a comfortable glove
March 05, 2011

I got these gloves because they were really comfortable and fit well in the store. I've used them for about 10 days on the mountain and am very happy with them. They're very warm - but on really cold days I'd wear them with a glove liner or just go with mittens. The features I like: the goggle wipe, the draw strings are easy to pull, the leashes are useful (never have to worry about losing a glove on the lift), and I can fit my lift card into the stash pocket on the glove so I never have to worry about rubbing my jacket on the lift turnstyle sensor thing. One thing I don't like is that you can't throw them in the wash -- they're "spot clean only".

Best snow gloves I've ever bought
January 06, 2011

On the pricey side but these gloves deliver. I ordered the medium and they fit perfectly- sizing seems to be straight on. Couple of cool features: there's a small drawstring inside the glove that you can pull tight around your wrists to keep both the snow and the cold out, and there are outer buckles to tighten the gloves around your wrists which makes gloves feel really snug on your hands. They're really warm too. Quality item

Product is as described, very warm and not too bulky. You really cannot go wrong with North Face products. Great buy!
