Nice pullover sweater
December 19, 2011

I bought the blue for my boyfriend, he already had one in black and loved it. While the material is thin for a sweater, it is perfect for layering. He likes to wear a t-shirt underneath on cool nights, for a nice clean look. My only suggestion is buy a lint roller. The sweater material collects lint from everything.

great fleece
January 03, 2012

excellent north face quality and fits to size. It is great as a standalone fleece, very warm and can even be layered with a jacket with no hood. I would highly recommend this for fall wearing or even for skiing.

Great Sweater!!
June 12, 2011

Love this sweater! I bought it for my step dad for fathers day and I couldn't be more pleased. It is soft, warm, and something that he can wear to work or on the weekend. The sizing was accurate (5'6" 175 lbs, M) and he absolutely loved it. Great quality and a great deal. Highly recommend!!

Pros: soft, versatile, warm

Great sweater
February 10, 2012

I bought this sweater for my husband to wear over dress shirts to work and it is perfect. It is a few steps up from a fleece but still sporty looking. It is warm and dressy enough to get away with at work. Great purchase.

Great purchase. Glad I did it.

I've been wanting this sweater for a long time. It fits perfectly and was a great buy. Thanks!

Good sweater
January 29, 2010

It's thin enough to wear under a jacket, but still very warm. Even though it's 40% wool, you can still machine wash it, which is a big plus.

Excellent Value
December 26, 2011

Purchased this sweater as a gift for my brother in law. As with all north face products, this sweater is very well made, and was offered at an exceptional price. I couldn't ask for a better deal!!

I'm about 5'8, 220 pounds and this fits me perfectly. It goes well with a lot of shirts and is nice and toasty warm. I also like the design of the sweater, with the insulated fleece neckline. I highly recommend it!

Nice Casual Sweater
January 13, 2011

I've been looking for something I could wear to work that was comfortable and warm. Well, I think I found it with this North Face 1/4 zip. I got it in Heather Gray and quite like the color. While it's wool, and wool can be itchy, the collar is fleece lined (probably my favorite part). I have it in medium and the sizing and length are good (somewhat generous, which I appreciate).

Pros: fleece lined collar, length of sweater

Nice quality but thin...
November 16, 2011

This sweater is soft and comfortable but thin. I was expecting it to be thicker and warmer, but nice if you are looking for a thin sweater. The blue is a very nice color.

Very nice sweater shirt from the north face. I bought the shirt for my bf and he absolutely happy with it! The olive green shirt is lovely and the shirt feels so soft and comfy!

Its a Keeper

Saw It at REI. Tried it on. It feels & fits great. I like the cotton / wool combo. Looks good with a dress shirt at work as well as with jeans on the weekend. This one is a keeper

Not worth it
March 05, 2012

Poor, scratchy fabric. Fell apart in the wash, after one wash. Washing instructions un-helpful. Once the product was washed the quality of the sweater made it seem like I'd owned the thing for 20 years!!

Cozy Sweater
December 17, 2012

This sweater is very soft and comfortable. It does run a little bit large, so I needed a smaller size, but otherwise no complaints! There is a fleece lining around the neck that is especially nice!

Great Fit
November 22, 2010

I wore this to dinner the other night and loved it. It's typical TNF in that it is warm without the bulk. I wore it with just a cotton t-shirt underneath and was fine without a jacket in upper-40s temperature. The light fleece liner on the collar keeps you from having a scratchy neck all night, too. To top it off, I got a compliment on it from my date :)

An awesome addition to the wardrobe
January 04, 2011

The North Face does it again with this versatile 1/4 zip sweater. As much as I wanna try other brands, I just can't get away from North Face because of products like this. It's just a great sweater! I've already worn mine from running errands to going out to dinner with my wife. I've even worn it as a layer for shoveling snow. I love the soft, breathable material that fits me like a glove, unlike so many other sweaters that lose their shape or unravel. You cannot go wrong with this sweater -- trust me!

Amazing!
September 20, 2011

I purchased this for my boyfriend in fig green and the color is really great it looks almost like an olive green. As for the fabric it is amazingly soft and very durable. This sweater keeps him nice and insulated and even in a very cold day he can get away with wearing only one layer, well as far as Texas winters go for us down south anyway. I would highly recommend this sweater to anyone else. I have purchased a 1/4 zip fleece from The North Face before and was looking for something along the same lines since they discontinued the one I purchased before. Great buy!

Pros: texture, warmth
Comfort: 5 / 5
Durability: 4 / 5
Quality: 5 / 5

Great classic 1/4 zip
October 25, 2010

Very pleased with this. Non technical material blend is comfy and regulates temperature well enough to be worn indoors and out. It is, however, a relatively light sweater and not windproof. Subtle logo enhances smart appearance and makes this a sweater for all occasions!

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance

Great Sweater!
February 02, 2012

This is the second Mt. Tam sweater I have purchased for my husband. Loved the first one so much I had to get him another color. It fits great, looks great and washes nicely. My husband likes it because it is light weight and goes with jeans, hiking pants or khakis. I purchased the large which is what he always wears and it is true to size.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He liked it. But he still likes his Patagonia 1/2 zip shirt better.

My son loves this

nice sweater w/o heft

Problem is that heavy sweaters get me too hot, so I've got lots that I don't wear. This feels lightweight enough that I won't over heat. Looking forward to this one!

Excellent Choice
February 13, 2011

This is a great sweater, my husband is really picky about the look of sweaters and this one is a little long in the waist but he absolutely loves this sweater. It's lightweight but warm, and the style is great for casual to business casual days. Color is taupe green, and he has another one in brown. The only drawback is that you have to be careful washing this item, it is wool.

This is a great and stylish sweater, however not good for my husband who is 6'6" with a long torso. XXL just got wider, not longer. Had to return unfortunately. Wish they carried tall.

Pros: warm stylish, Cons: not long enough for long torsos.

Great Sweater!
February 22, 2011

Not too bulky, and keeps you warm on cool to mild days. The sleeve cuff's have a saggy fit. The neck zip fits great, and note it has not pocket for media player.

Great light sweater!
January 20, 2010

Bought this sweater for my bro for Christmas and he loved it! He said it would be a great spring sweater, and plans to wear it when he bikes. He's about 180lbs, 6 ft and I got him a large which fit perfectly.

Another Great Deal from Altrec
February 16, 2013

I purchased The North Face 1/4/ Zip Sweater for Men on Altrec. Definitely worth what I paid for it. Very comfortable and cozy. It is a little roomy and wide around the waistline but overall i am satisfied.

Power
October 25, 2009

This piece makes you feel powerful. I went with the deep blue to make a statement. It combines with khakis and jeans seamlessly and states, " I can be serious at the office and still beat you down the hill on a powder day." This sweater makes you taller and your teeth seem whiter when you wear it. Sometimes I have to go business casual and you can bet it won't be from Old Navy when I do.
