Comfy
April 25, 2012
I've had these for a month now, but I was just standing out in a 25MPH wind yesterday and realized how warm these pants are. I had on a tshirt and a fleece and my upper body felt a little chilled and I actually made a mental note of how my legs felt none of the wind. I decided to come on and write a review. They're as light as can be and fit perfect in all the important places. I bought a grey pair and a weimaraner pair. The weimaraner are a bit more grey and less brown than I thought they would be, and the zip pocket on the side is white and does not match the pants. Not that I don't think it looks cool, but that's not in the picture. The grey pair have a matching pocket, so that's weird. The grey pair are also a little tight. I know, I know, I'm getting fat, what's a guy to do. But I ordered two of the same pair and they don't fit the same. So, I love how comfy they are. I like the look although it's not quite what I had in mind (who can tell from internet photos). But I have to dock one star for the fact that I need to lose 5 lbs before I can wear the grey ones comfortably.
Pros: Build quality, Performance, comfortMarch 09, 2012
A nice light hiking pant. They are a bit baggier fit throughout than my Columbia Silver Ridge pants of the same size. The side cargo pockets are a little small. The zippered side pocket is too small for my wallet, and the other side while bigger does not zip or velcro. The front pockets are at an odd angle, so that you have to stick your hands into your pocket almost straight down, this is a plus since nothing will fall out unless you are pretty much upside down. I plan on ordering a second pair.
2nd pair!

Ordered a second pair to add to my collection. This one was a 2 sizes larger. My original pair had a 30 inch waist. I needed some more room to keep the snap from popping open. I ordered the 32 inch waist. More room in the waist than I need, and way more extra room in the length and leg area than I need. Still love them. Comfortable in the warmer months and the colder months they are perfect with thermal underwear underneath.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of useOctober 26, 2011
Guys, I have a relatively athletic build for my age (60) and have had the same waist size (34) for over 20 years. These pants, or at least the current manufacturing run, are a tight 34 inches around the waist. I absolutely like the material, workmanship, finish and sizing - other than the waist. Considered taking the pants to a tailor, but there is no additional material in the waistband to allow for an adjustment to widen. Unfortunately, I will not be exchanging for a size 36 - not only because they are not available in the color I want, but more because these pants are proportioned very nicely and going to a larger waist would oversize the legs and bottom openings - as mentioned in an earlier review of these pants.
Pros: Great design, Build qualityTerrific purchase...I'm very happy

These pants are comfortable and fit well. I've already used them for hiking in warm weather and in cool weather and they are terrific. I plan to use them all winter by layering up fleece or other tights under them. And I love all of the usable pockets. I highly recommend them.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great valueExcellent light weight pants

These pants fit well and are light weight. I use them in the summer to commute to work in, and they are breathable, yet they stop the wind. They are dressy enough to fit in to a casual office, yet they are ready to hit the bouldering problems right after work. They move well and I'd buy another pair of them in a second.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performancegood purchase.

The fit is good, and breathes in the desert heat. These pants are comfortable and look good. I like the cargo pockets as they are not bulky. The front pockets are not too small but a little tight if you try to put your hands in deep (not a real problem). I would buy another pair if I needed to.
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value
