The tough and fast-drying material is great for active backpackers and climbers who need performance clothing that moves with them down the trail and up to the summit. The Prolix features two front slash pockets and a zippered left cargo pocket that can accommodate a small billfold. The fabric has a Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) of 30+, but don't forget to use sunscreen everywhere else.

Overall a great pair of shorts
I bought these shorts for indoor rock climbing and they have been excellent. Very light weight and flexible. They would also make good running or exercise shorts.

Terrific exercise shorts!
I love these for running, gym, or just knocking around. They make a good paddling short too, as the material dries very quickly. My only complaint is that the zip pocket is so small, I have trouble getting two fingers in it to retrieve my keys.
