Designed with a tapered "performance fit" that's ideal for fast-paced hiking, climbing and even trail running, The North Face Men's Prophecy Jacket is light, lean and clean with full waterproof and breathable protection. It's made with a durable, 2.5-layer HyVent DT fabric that's exclusive to The North Face. This waterproof and breathable jacket has a seam-sealed construction that uses 13-mm. wide seam tape for watertight performance that doesn't add extra weight to the design. The North Face used some of the weight savings to retain some alpine features like pit-zips beneath the sleeves, a left bicep pocket and a fully adjustable attached hood. The Prophecy jacket also has "alpine pockets"--long diagonal pocket openings that are usually accessible beneath most climbing harnesses and backpacking straps, even if you're wearing fleece gloves.
