North Face Men's Split Jacket

I have previously owned a TNF Hyvent DT rain jacket. The Split jacket has a much softer and supple fabric compared to the previous TNF rain jacket. The design and color combinations make its appearance more attractive. I'm 5'8" and about 160 and a medium fits well. It has a slighter more athletic fit to it but I am still able to layer a fleece or even a thin down (such as TNF micro thermal down) underneath. The hood is more functional as well. Although this is mostly designed for rain, it can also be used as a shell for snow. Overall, I would highly recommend this jacket.

North Face Split Jacket-Mens

Perfect fit, very light weight great for backpacking. Used on a six day hike with several days of rain in cool weather. It is waterproof! I layered with a light fleece on cool days. Has adjustable hood and deep large exterior pockets, hold pretty much anything. It's also perfect for windy weather or not cold enough to wear a heavy jacket. I would recommend this jacket.
