This is a great product! Originally purchased mainly for the cold nights while trekking at high elevation through the mountains of Peru, this item has become a main staple for all of my cold weather excursions (note: cold not frigid). It deserves emphasizing that although the jacket is not intended to act as your sole means of insulation during low temperatures (but can be used as a layer under something warmer), the jacket provides unsurpassed mobility and function in very cool/mildly cold temperatures. Also, the insulated hoodie is a must have. In regards to sizing, I'm 6ft 2in, and weigh in at 220 lbs. Initially I ordered the XXL but found that to be way too large. I returned the jacket for the XL and have been absolutely pleased with the fit. The closer fit allows the insulation to do what it was intended to do - keep you warm. Altrec's customer services made returning the first jacket an easy and quick process. Like most, if not all, of The North Face's products, this item is made to last and be used in the field.

Awesome jacket I have not taken it off sents I received it. Fits like a glove. What a great jacket, it feels like you are getting a warm hug every time you put it on.
