Performance driven and now with seamless shoulders for increased weather protection, The North Face Men's Super Zephyrus Hoodie provides lightweight thermal warmth with tons of mobility without the bulk. Extremely packable and versatile for a range of active adventures, this alpine fitting shell is a TNF athletes favorite. Designed in a100% nylon ripstop shell that is polyurethane (PU) kiss coat for protection against the elements, the hoody is body mapped with targeted 40 g PrimaLoft® One insulation for the optimum balance in warmth and breathability. Wind permeability rated at 2 CFM (0 CFM is 100% windproof), this mid layer shell also features Polartec® Power Stretch® paneled sides, hood and hem for premium comfort and mobility. The attached hood that is partially insulated and bound provides extra warmth under a helmet, while the Power Stretch cuffs feature thumb loops to keep the sleeves from riding up during strenuous activity. Two alpine pockets offer a place for necessities and to toast digits, while reverse-coil zips and 2-way front zip allow for easy use and added venting. An awesome mid layer under a shell when the temperatures drop, The North Face Men's Super Zephyrus Hoodie reaches its stride as a breathable outer layer in moderate and hyper-active conditions.

Awesome jacket I have not taken it off sents I received it. Fits like a glove. What a great jacket, it feels like you are getting a warm hug every time you put it on.

Awesome Jacket

This is a great product! Originally purchased mainly for the cold nights while trekking at high elevation through the mountains of Peru, this item has become a main staple for all of my cold weather excursions (note: cold not frigid). It deserves emphasizing that although the jacket is not intended to act as your sole means of insulation during low temperatures (but can be used as a layer under something warmer), the jacket provides unsurpassed mobility and function in very cool/mildly cold temperatures. Also, the insulated hoodie is a must have. In regards to sizing, I'm 6ft 2in, and weigh in at 220 lbs. Initially I ordered the XXL but found that to be way too large. I returned the jacket for the XL and have been absolutely pleased with the fit. The closer fit allows the insulation to do what it was intended to do - keep you warm. Altrec's customer services made returning the first jacket an easy and quick process. Like most, if not all, of The North Face's products, this item is made to last and be used in the field.
