Great Sweatshirt
The sweatshirt is very light to wear but remarkably warm. Usually a top this warm is big and bulky but this one is not bulky at all. Bought a second one.

Bought them for the whole family
Super warm as an added layer on the slopes, or as a casual sweater for just hanging out. I bot my first one years ago, and have been so satisfied we’ve gotten them for the whole family for our upcoming trip to Colorado.

Very warm!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought this sweater 1 week ago. I live in Illinois where weather is so cold. After having this sweater, I don't need to wear lots of clothes in order to make me warm. Now I only wear this sweater with another jacket. I don't lie you because its performance is more than what I expected.
If you want to buy this sweater, you should think one thing. It is size. Before I bought this sweater, I thought that it would be small. No!!! It is totally wrong. It fits me very well. It does not run small.

Nice shirt for daily wear
This shirt is lightweight, warm, nice color, and fit well. Our familly uses this product. I have couple Koppen's shirts, same style, the price is cheaper than North Pace TKA100 Microvelour but i don't like Koppen's shirt because the zipper doesn't work well and the material is not looking nice.
Altec provides good customer services, email response is quick and fast shipping. I really like the grey and black color, i will order the brown and green very soon. Thank you.

Soooo Soft
Bought this for my boyfriend in the heather blue color. It's a really nice color that's not too bright, not too dull. He is 6'1" and 240 lbs, so I got him the XL. It's a tiny bit loose, but this is fine since he can wear layers underneath. I think if I got him the L it would have been too tight. I love the microvelour fabric, it it just soooo soft. Softer than regular fleece, and makes me want to cuddle. I'm going to get myself one too!

Glaicier zip shirt
Comfort, good price, fast service, this was a gift for my son-in-law, he loves it and my daughter also owns a down jacket of the same brand, it's the only thing she wears the whole winter even though she has many other jackets. I might get one for myself later.

North Face Never Fails
Great light weight fleece. I own so many but bought this for my bf. He wears it all the time now and can't get enough. Perfect for over a tshirt, great liner for a winter coat, or even just to lounge around the house.

North Face Always a Favorite
This is a great shirt for power-walking or just hanging out and staying toasty warm. It holds up well after many washes - I prefer hanging to air-dry. It doesn't weigh down and provides lightweight warmth all winter.

BEST gift
I bought this for my brother for Christmas and he loved it. He put it on as we were opening Christmas presents. It is soft, comfortable, and perfect for a morning walk in the fall or even a bar outing with some nice jeans. The style is very in right now and I love it. Men will love it!!!

Soft
I am not nomally a North Face fan but bought this as was on sale. The weight and fit are great. Sleeves were not too long, but long enough that when you raise your arms the sleeves don't come up to your elbows. The best thing about the thing is that this pullover is SO SOFT. Both the inside and outside are a dream! Although I think other brands are better, this one is one of the best and highly recomend it.

TNF TKA100 Mens
Bought this as a gift for my dad. He said the fit was slightly small but warmth and comfort great. I own two pairs myself and LOVE them. I think they are great as PJ's but can also be worn out to the gym or running errands.

Absolutely best Fleece Sweatshirt I've ever had
Very light in weight. Tall collar keeps you nice and warm. Unbelievable soft feeling... Sleeve length exactly as described in size chart. Trunk size is a little bit more contour fitting than I expected. I will probably purchase two more in other colors.

Excellent item, just a boring color
This fleece arrived today, a gift for my nephew. Everything about it is great and just as described by other reviewers. The fleece is incredibly soft, light, but obviously warm. It is well constructed as you would expect of North Face. A nice, affordable entry-level NF that will last for years I'm sure. My one complaint was that the color I ordered (Deep Water Blue) was really just a run-of-the mill navy. Kind of a disappointment when I opened the package, as I was expecting something more special - maybe a dark denim blue, as it looked on my monitor. So it's going back for another color. If it's navy you want, then this is item is for you.

I've owned a lot of fleece.....
but this is the most 'buttery' I've ever felt. Sleeves are just a tad long in a large, but not enough to size down. I'm 5'10" 195. I can see this being a favorite to replace my similar black Polartec LL Bean 100 weight. Thinking about getting other colors.

TNF TKA 100
Bought 2 off these on sale this summer and was waiting for cooler weather to review. Typical North Face quality. These are by far the best I have owned as far as the weight to warmth ratio is concerned. Have been washed several times already and show no wear, fading or piling. They are cut a little narrower in the body than others but have ample shoulder room and great sleeve length. (6'2'' 200 lbs) Usually wear XL (tall if available) but ordered XXL and it fits great. Was fortunate to have tried them on at a retail store prior to purchase. Ended up buying them from Altrec.com. Cant beat the price and customer service and delivery always first rate.

North Face Micro Fleece
Considering the relatively low cost of this piece of North Face gear I would have to say it is an excellent deal. The fleece is soft and very light but provides a nice second layer of warmth when hiking in cold temps or as a comfortable outer layer in early fall/spring. It's surprising how something so thin is so warm. Thanks again to Altrec for making it available at such a great price!

light but warm
This shirt while light in weight provides a good deal of warmth. Like most North Face prducts this has been the case with all previous NF purchases. This was a pefect fit which has not been the same recently. I am 5' 10" and weight 160 lbs and bought the medium .This the 2nd one of these shirts for me, I needed another color and wanted to give the other one a rest. Highly recommended by me.

Great jacket!
I purchased this jacket for my boyfriend in August. I was worried that the sizing would be off and a Large would be too big for him (he is 6'1 and 150 lbs). The jacket fits and feels great!

Warm and fuzzy
Great fit and finish - surprisingly warm for being microvelour. I will probably have to order more otherwise I'll wear this one out.
It's fall right now in Chicago and i wore this out the first night it arrived - 50 degrees and a stiff breeze. I had just a t-shirt underneath and was sufficiently warm and protected from the wind.

I currently own ten of these pullover jackets! They are great and I wear them everyday starting in the fall until late spring. These jackets are wonderful and always keep you in the perfect temperature. They really last as well. I have one that is over ten years old and is still in good condition. Thanks North Face!!

Outstanding Value
Have found this piece to be extremely versatile. Whether as a base fleece under a heavier jacket, or as a sweater on a chilly day, this fleece is simple, comfortable, and functional. Looks great and performs great at a very good price. A great buy, I would definitely purchase again.

Great quality and comfort
This shirt is perfect weight for simply wearing around the house or for layering under a heavier jacket. It's incredibly soft and well made. Considering the thin size it is fairly warm. I'm planning on buying more in different colors because it's so versatile. You can slip it on over anything and be warm and still look appropriate if you go out to eat.
I purchased a medium because I wanted it to be form fitting. I'm 6' 175lbs. Since I am a little more muscular build the length is perfect, but the sleeves just fit me.

Second round of zipshirts
Prior to purchasing the most recent set of zipshirts, I purchased another 2 in Australia. As soon as I arrived the US a few days ago, I sought out two more and now they've arrived (today!) they're absolutely everything I had expected. The colour, the fit, and sleeve length were exactly what I had expected.
This type of garment is perfect in Australia where one has to layer for work or home so it's perfect for my lifestyle. Plus, super super easy to wash, hang, and quickly dry.
Having the zipper and collar made as they are, it's quite versatile for a jumper going out or closed with the collar up curled up at home on a winter's night.
Altrec met my expectations and more!

Good jacket, long arms
These are great lightweight, well-made fleeces, particularly at Altrec's price. The only downside for me was that the arm length on the Medium was a bit too long for me. That's not uncommon b/c I do have shorter arms, but it was an issue in these fleeces in particular because the arm cuff is just flat (no velcro or elastic). The good news is that my wife is awesome and hemmed the length, so I'm good to go.
Moral of the story: longer arms help.

North Face Men's 1/4 zip
Gift for my son-law who loves it. Fit is on the smallish side so he was glad I ordered him the XL. He is very tall but slim. Delivery quicker than promised. Big downside was website did not offer a picture with this color so had to order it sight unseen with color.

Great color and Comfort
I love my North Face 1/4 zip in blue!
It's soft and warm. I really don't want to wear any other fleece!
It keeps me very comfortable in varing temperatures. It flexes easily with me and I hardly know that I have it on!
Throw an outer layer over for lower temps and the performance is terrrific. I plan on bringing it on my next trip to the North Cascades National Park trek.

Super comfort
I have another TKA 100 (black) and it is one of the most comfortable and versatile lightweight fleece sweaters I own. So I jumped at the sale price on the new taupe green color. Received it in a couple of days and I love it. Super soft and fits great.

LOVE the TKA 1/4 Zip
I just bought my fifth TKA 1/4 zip fleece from North Face. I am a 5'6" size 4 woman, and I actually prefer the men's TKA over the womens. The Mens S fits me perfectly. I have found it to be longer in the hips and the sleeves and I like not having a fitted outer layer. I have tried the women's version and keep going back to the mens. I also prefer the men's colors to the women's. This is my go-to fleece for coaching, lounging and first thing when I get home and change into my PJ's. I bought so many for myself, my husband became intrigued and he is enjoying his quite a bit!

The North Face is a must have in our household. We have always been very pleased with their products and this pullover is no exception. I bought him three so far. The fabric is comfortable, washes well and it keeps it's shape. Sizing is pretty standard, a bit fitted. This is a must have, a staple to any closet.

great purchase!
I bought this for my husband a few days ago and he loves it! It's thinner than I would have expected but still pretty warm. My husband has a lean figure and typically wears a medium. I would say the fit (we got a medium) is a bit more snug than average sizes. It really is a great layering piece and a light Fall outer layer or perfect at home sweatshirt. I would highly recommend it!!

Nice Piece
Very lightweight and very soft. Warm and has ahigh zip collar. I have a 1/4 zip TKA 100, and this fits more loose and has a higher collar than the TKA 100. In total -- a nice top piece to have.

Cozy and Versatile
This fleece has seemed to hold up remarkably well after nearly everyday use since arrival of the product at my doorstep. It's warm (almost too warm for some indoor locations), comfortable, and looks darn good.
On the slightly negative side of things: It produces an incredible amount of static electricity (though this is typical of all fleece), and the arms seemed a bit long. Because there is no scrunchy material (or hem cord) at the wrist, the fleece can sometimes feel flappy and slightly long. It doesn't bother me enough to stop wearing it, so not to worry. I only wish that The North Face implemented some type of wrist scrunch on this model. It's perfect otherwise, and didn't deserve getting docked in the ratings. (For sizing purposes: I am 5'10", 150 lbs. and I purchased a Medium)

Very Nice 1/4 Zip
I ordered a pair of these 1/4 zip pullovers for layering and lounging around the house. I was immediately impressed with the softness and comfort. After one day of wearing around the house, I'm very glad I purchased them. I cannot comment on durability yet but based on my previous history with The North Face product line, I suspect I'll be very pleased.
Overall I would highly recommend.

excellent 1/4 zip fleece
Fairly thin, so will work well in layering system, or by itself in warm weather. Runs slightly large, or perfect for those who like a slightly loose fit. Washes well with no noted pill-ing. North Face logo stands out ... would be nice to have a toned down logo.

Soft & cozy
The fleece in this item is very soft, significantly softer than what was used in last year's TKA 100 -- kind of like the type used in those fancier microfleece blankets. It's very cozy, perfect for lounging around the house. I wonder if it will be as durable as the previous stuff, but have high expectations from The North Face brand. I would definitely buy another one of these.

Nice for layering
Super warm and super soft. Great for under lighter coats (I have a lighter winter Burton snowboard coat) and it kept me nice and toasty while I was sledding with my daughter.

Excellent Layer Piece
This Fleece is extremely warm! It is almost too warm to wear around the house. This is a perfect fleece for layering up for a cold day on the slopes. Also, the material feels extremely soft which makes it super comfortable!

Amazing Purchase

Wierd fit
I actually returned this product due to the fit. It is not snug at the waist and thus hangs wierd if your chest is sizeable at all. The collar is also not ideal; it does not stand on its own without looking goofy. The material is very soft, though.

Worthy Pullover
Was surprised how lightweight it was but it still provided plenty of warmth with Polartec. Have worn the pullover 4-5 times casually around town and it works very well as a layer on a cold (30 deg F) aggressive hike. Washes well.

Soft. Unreal Soft
Sole purpose of this purchase was to replace my last one that finally gave up the ghost. Actually, it lost a final battle with my german shepard and is now his personal snuggie. Until then, though, this was my go-to for softness. Always soft, always warm. Like wearing a fitted blanket of heaven. Love the color, it's a touch darker than what the site renders, although I guess that could be my laptop screen's fault. Buy it for the warmth and comfort factor, makes a great middle layer when gearing up for a winter day.

Super Soft and extremely warm
I purchased this fleece for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! I got the large and its roomy - not too big just roomy which he likes. He typically wears a large (44R) so I would order true to size. The fleece is crazy soft and it's super cozy! He couldn't be happier and is thinking of purchasing another one in a different color....

Great Value
I purchased this for my son to wear skiing in very cold weather. It performed exactly as I had hoped. It kept him very warm and dry . Summit temperatures reached -25 and he stayed toasty warm with a base layer, this fleece, and a ski jacket. Highly recommend!!
