This fleece is amazing! The fit is perfect! It is not too snug nor too loose. I'm 5'6" 150 lbs and the medium fits just fine. The softness of this fleece is one of the softest fleece I've ever felt. It does keep me warm. I wear this under my North Face Windwall and together I have no problems of fighting off the cold December weather. My only issue, which isn't too much of a bother, is that it does cling to your t-shirt. This is especially noticeable when you bend down and then stand back up. You have to straighten the fleece because now it looks a little crumpled on your body. However, if you're walking around and don't bend down, the fleece holds just fine. Not much of an issue, but it should be noted.

This is one of the most comfortable garments I own. My only problem is the superwhite Northface label on the front. First of all I grew up wearing product labels on the inside of a garment. OK so now we have it on the outside - so use a little discretion please. No I don't want to return it but almost.

After recieving the tka 100's i purchased I was a little disappointed in them only because I have an older one that I have had for 5-6 years and everything about it is better than the new ones. That is why I had no problem purchasing two additional ones based on what I had. It's not that the new ones are not good. It's just they are not as good as my old one. North Face charges big money for their products and you expect the best. These last two micro fleece shirts I bought look to be more commercialized and massed produced compared to my old one.

I have used this fleece for 5 years now. For skiing, walking and ice climbing in the winter. I also have used it during wormer weather conditions with or without a gore-tex jacket. It fits great, is very light and breaths very well. It gives me warm and comfort but what is the most important takes the heat and sweat away from your body. TNF has released a new version of the product so the old one, one can get for a cheaper price which make this purchase even better quality to price ratio.

This is my 3rd 1/4 zip TKA 100 fleece, so I'm a big fan. I bought two a few years ago and still wear them a LOT. The refined material for 2010 is indeed softer and lighter. The only downside to the new one is is seems to fit slightly larger than the previous ones in the same size, but I know one size down (L to M) would be too small having tried on a M in the store. But I do prefer the new material. These things work great as a layer in really cold outdoor activities, or are very comfortable with just a t-shirt under them on milder days. I'll probably be buying yet another one of these I like them so much!

This is a soft cozy lightweight fleece jacket. The fabric is a great weight for layering, and doesn’t pill. I wear it all the time around the house, and on the trail.

Fairly thin, so will work well in layering system, or by itself in warm weather. Runs slightly large, or perfect for those who like a slightly loose fit. Washes well with no noted pill-ing. North Face logo stands out ... would be nice to have a toned down logo.

Great gift whether for teen or grandad. Soft, comfortable, sporty. Great fit. Bought small for 140#,5'9 14 y/o and med for 80y/o dad 5'7, 160#. Son was still wearing too small youth Xl he got for Christmas last year. Other than a little small still looked great even tho washed alot since he wears all the time!

This Fleece is extremely warm! It is almost too warm to wear around the house. This is a perfect fleece for layering up for a cold day on the slopes. Also, the material feels extremely soft which makes it super comfortable!

I actually returned this product due to the fit. It is not snug at the waist and thus hangs wierd if your chest is sizeable at all. The collar is also not ideal; it does not stand on its own without looking goofy. The material is very soft, though.

I purchased this for my son to wear skiing in very cold weather. It performed exactly as I had hoped. It kept him very warm and dry . Summit temperatures reached -25 and he stayed toasty warm with a base layer, this fleece, and a ski jacket. Highly recommend!!

I ordered a pair of these 1/4 zip pullovers for layering and lounging around the house. I was immediately impressed with the softness and comfort. After one day of wearing around the house, I'm very glad I purchased them. I cannot comment on durability yet but based on my previous history with The North Face product line, I suspect I'll be very pleased. Overall I would highly recommend.

My husband LOVES the TKA100. The only trouble we've had lately is with creases in the microfleece that are more like crushed fabric so they remain permanent. Altrec was wonderful abd made it really easy to resolve this issue.

Was surprised how lightweight it was but it still provided plenty of warmth with Polartec. Have worn the pullover 4-5 times casually around town and it works very well as a layer on a cold (30 deg F) aggressive hike. Washes well.

This is my third time ordering this item for both my sons. This is favorite for both. Very lightweight and comfortable & they wash really well. If you prefer looser fitting clothing-I might suggest going up a size. One of my sons like loose and one likes form fitting so for the one that prefers loose-we go up a size!

I buy these for my 13 year old son (lots, because he keeps losing them.) I've worn it too, it's amazing how warm it is in spite of its light weight. Only downside is... supposed to be washed in delicate cycle and air dried.

This is the perfect garment! Can be worn anytime of the year!

The fleece from North Face is always very high quality and long lasting. I usually use mine in combination with an outer shell to camp or with a down vest to climb in. This is ideal for these situations. Very light, but very warm. I have several and will continue to buy them. Highly recommend.

Cozy and Versatile

This fleece has seemed to hold up remarkably well after nearly everyday use since arrival of the product at my doorstep. It's warm (almost too warm for some indoor locations), comfortable, and looks darn good. On the slightly negative side of things: It produces an incredible amount of static electricity (though this is typical of all fleece), and the arms seemed a bit long. Because there is no scrunchy material (or hem cord) at the wrist, the fleece can sometimes feel flappy and slightly long. It doesn't bother me enough to stop wearing it, so not to worry. I only wish that The North Face implemented some type of wrist scrunch on this model. It's perfect otherwise, and didn't deserve getting docked in the ratings. (For sizing purposes: I am 5'10", 150 lbs. and I purchased a Medium)

I've been eying this jacket for quite some time and finally got it when it's on sale. Great design by TNF, great comfort and beautiful color. Works perfectly in Nor Cal weather; useful both at a cool summer night and in cold winter days (as an inner layer), or probably any time in between. It's one of most versatile jackets one can own. Even when not on sale, it's well worth every penny of the price. Highly recommend, especially to those outdoor lovers.

I bought this for my husband and he has not taken it off. I own 6 of these already and love them all. I wear one everyday from October to March, chilly months in the northeast. I can't say enough about these. Great for layering or wearing all day whether you're indoors or outdoors.

These pullovers are really warm for as light as they are, and they are really comfortable. They can go through the normal cycle in the wash and come out just fine. I'm 6'1" 190 and the large fits perfectly with a t shirt underneath. On colder days, I put a long sleeved tee under a size XL and don't need a jacket down to 40 degrees. I have four in different colors and I would buy more if I could find more in size large, but at the price altrec is selling them at, its no wonder there's a shortage. Well worth it at $45 - $50, its a steal at $22-$30.

Sole purpose of this purchase was to replace my last one that finally gave up the ghost. Actually, it lost a final battle with my german shepard and is now his personal snuggie. Until then, though, this was my go-to for softness. Always soft, always warm. Like wearing a fitted blanket of heaven. Love the color, it's a touch darker than what the site renders, although I guess that could be my laptop screen's fault. Buy it for the warmth and comfort factor, makes a great middle layer when gearing up for a winter day.

Last summer my son and I backpacked through the Wind River Range in WY. It was early summer and we were spending most of our time above 10,000 ft. The days were warm while the evenings and nights were cold. The TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 zip shirt was a perfect weight. Not too warm during the day and capable of fending off the cold in the evenings. My son really liked the shirt and after the trip I ended up giving it to him. He's been attending school in Michigan and says the TKA 100 has become his favorite shirt to wear around campus. With another summer coming up and another trip to the Winds with my son on the calendar, I absolutely had to purchase another TKA 100 for myself. I'm pretty sure there's no chance I'll get my TKA 100 back from my son...

I've purchased several of these fleeces in different colors. They fit great and are lightweight and warm. I'm 6', 215 lbs and I wear a large. I wear this fleece with just a t-shirt underneath and it keeps me warm in 30+ degree weather. This is a great fleece for doing active things outside like hiking and jogging because it is lightweight and not bulky.

I purchased this fleece for my husband for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! I got the large and its roomy - not too big just roomy which he likes. He typically wears a large (44R) so I would order true to size. The fleece is crazy soft and it's super cozy! I am now on my third micro-velour NorthFace Glacier. Third because 2 wasn't enough...so many colors. These 1/4 zip pullovers are light and extremely warm. Very durable. They can be warn alone on a cool day or used as a first/mid layer for the colder temps and extended exposure. While being warm and durable they are still very thin and light and great in keeping weight down in your pack or luggage. The North Face quality is excellent and the Altrec service is unmatched.

I love, love, love this fleece. I now have a blue and black one and was looking for additional colors. Unfortunately Northface has discontinued this style. I don't know how they could improve upon it, but it better be good!!! Love to wear around the house over a T-shirt. I'm 5'9" 165 and a medium fits perfectly.

The fleece in this item is very soft, significantly softer than what was used in last year's TKA 100 -- kind of like the type used in those fancier microfleece blankets. It's very cozy, perfect for lounging around the house. I wonder if it will be as durable as the previous stuff, but have high expectations from The North Face brand. I would definitely buy another one of these.

I ordered 2 fleeces, one for me and one for my fiance right before we left for the Rocky Mountains. These are great fleeces and we used them on our hike and also got some great pictures in them. Very light but keeps your body temperature regulated. Lastly, I ordered a large and I am 6 feet tall, 180 pounds; fits perfect. I would recommend these to anyone!
