Good Shoe Good Price
November 22, 2011

I have a long walk to school everyday (3-6 miles) so I needed a reliable shoe that could endure the rain, mud, dirt and uneven surfaces. Also, the temperatures are erratic sometimes that I would be sweating going to school and shivering coming back so I needed a shoe that would meet all these requirements without compromising style; this shoe seems to be the solution. It is very light weight and very comfortable, the cushion seems to absorb most of the shock while taking each step and it fits perfectly. I have a bit of a wide feet towards the my pinky toe but with these shoes that does not seem to be a problem, I recommend getting your size. The grip on the shoe is also great, I treat my transitions from the train station to the bus top as a race track so I would take tight turns while speed walking and these shoes seem to hug the ground when I do so. I highly recommend these to who has long walks even as a everyday shoe.

Pros: comfortable, waterproof, light weight

Awesome "Do it all" shoes
July 15, 2013

This is my 4th pair of these shoes, I have never found another model of any brand that works better. I trail run 3x per week, hike often, and work in them daily. I have a pretty flat foot which can make finding a shoe somewhat difficult. These offer great cushioning and foot protection. If there is a draw back it would be that, because of the gore-tex material, they can be very warm during the summer.

Pros: cushioning, protection, durability, support, Cons: a little warm in summer

perfect shoes

when i wear them, i feel like i wear nothing on my feet. it is so light, so comfortable. design is also great. i though it is gonna take some water inside when it is raining cos it is slim, but i was wrong, even at heavy rain, my feet were so dry. best qualty

comfortable and sturdy
July 23, 2011

I have narrow heels and wide forefoot and these Ultra 106s fit me perfect. I've tested them under the shower faucet for a couple of minutes and they seemed to be resistant against wet conditions. The soles are quite stiff for running and I am wearing these as hiking shoes. They may be little too warm in hot weather, otherwise perfect hiking shoes!

Excellent hiking shoes
May 31, 2013

These shoes are very comfortable out of the box and took all the beating I could throw at them. Basically, I gave up before the shoes did. The grip on rocks of any kind is excellent. And they stayed dry at all times. A little on the warm side because of the GoreTex membrane, but they breathe adequately. No problems after almost two years. Bought a second pair.

Pros: excellent grip, very comfortable, take a beating

Great Shoes
January 02, 2012

Very comfortable shoes, I just spent 10 days in California over the holidays. I worn them every day without a problem, would highly recommend. These are the second pair of TNF shoes I have owned, and they get better every time.
