I work in all types of weather and need the gear to keep me and those I work with warm and dry or cool and comfortable. The Venture Parka is the perfect rain jacket to have in your bag, light weight yet durable, comfortable, very well designed and does its job very well. You can't beat the price for this essential piece of gear. I buy these jackets for the crews I work with and when mother natures delivers so does the Venture Parka.

Quality You Would Expect

It does the essential things I wanted it to.
I wore it on an unseasonably mild day with a light drizzle. My wife and I walked our 2 1/2 mile quick walk. The deer and wild turkey didn't seem to notice my stylish new look, I however liked how the vents under the arms kept me both cool and dry. It also did not feel slimy on the inside. One improvement would be a two way zipper on the front. The extra length is a dry plus but when you sit in the car or the airplane it would be easier if it unzipped from the bottom. We are going to Alaska soon and I look forward to using it.

Great combo of features and price
This jacket was delivered quickly, and with the weathering the NE, not a moment too soon. This is the perfect thing to wear when snow blowing or shoveling. Order a size up if you plan on layering. Great fabric!!

Nice lightweight, longer rain jacket
Good lightweight rain jacket. Difference b/t it and the Venture (not Venture parka) is the length and it is helpful having as much coverage over hips, etc. as possible since it is after all a rainjacket. Easy to pack. Aesthetically, it is not the most appealing of jackets but serves its function.
