all around great
February 17, 2013
used it for hiking up a frozen river in snow- walked into lake superior (stayed completely dry). currently, mainly use it for ice climbing and they work great. I bought them a half size large because i hope to do alpine climbing and will need thick socks. Because of the size dif. they're a bit off for me, but even with that they are awesome. haven't used them in below zero temps yet but they are pretty warm for not being plastic. fit great with crampons. the cradle technology really works and keeps your heel in place and is especially noticeable when ice climbing (just make sure to keep your laces well tied because they tend to loosen up). Sizing runs a bit wide, which is awesome because i have wider feet. one negative: rubs my ankle a bit and worried its going to affect me during long days climbing. another negative is that they are wayy expensive...but i got them at a really good deal!
Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, cradle technology, warm, Cons: CostDid you recently buy the The North Face Verto S6K Glacier GTX Boots? Write a review.
