Great running shorts

I like running shorts that have a full compression short built in. I have had trouble finding them lately. i saw these and decided to take a chance. They are great. They fit true to size (I ordered XL as i am 6'2" and 200 lbs## and they are very comfortable. For me, the biggest plus is that the compression short stays in place. I have similar shorts from other companies that cost closer to $50 and I am constantly pulling down the compression short as I run since it rides up my leg. These are great. My only complaint is the waist drawstring tie. it is a loop - it does not have 2 ends that you can tie in a knot #like a shoe lace). Not a big negative - just not my preference.

Having a longer liner, definetly makes this a much more versatile short. It hangs nicely, and moves well. Very light, and non-bulky short. So comfortable, I even ran my last marathon in these shorts.

A good pair of shorts has two basic qualities, (1) fits well, (2) no chafing. These shorts fit that bill. I have not had them long enough to comment about durability, but if they are like other north face products that I have owned, they will fit that bill too.
