I live overseas and have to travel for work. I was going through standard luggage pretty quickly. If a bag was strong enough to last a year it was too heavy, if it was light enough for airlines like Ryan Air then it fell apart. Thats when I bought my first North Face suitcase. (The Sidetrack) Because it worked out so well I bought this one. It is great, light but strong. This really helps with the more restrictive weight limits found on EU airlines. My only wish is that it had a little more padding in the front where you store your laptop. Although this is easily remedied by packing something soft in front of the laptop compartment.
