Decent tent
September 25, 2011

Purchased this tent due to it being reduced in price and found it to be a great addition to my camping and contingent gear. Packs relatively small best for car camping vice packing it in. No leaks to date.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

Super tent at a fantastic price
July 31, 2008

I ordered this tent because the price was so good, but the quality isn't compromised compared to the price. This tent was extremely easy to put together (that coming from someone very new to the camping experience). Very lightweight and exceptional quality!

Light, fast, and comfortable

This tent is very light, sets up fast, and holds two full size people very comfortably...three could be accomodated in a pinch. A great tent.

Solid Piece of Gear
January 23, 2013

Used this tent on a 6 day 5 night Teton Crest Trail trip with my boys. The tent design was great. Nice to have a dual entrance and vestibule. This made gear storage and tent access a breeze. Set up is a easy which was very nice after hiking all day. Same for packing up and getting ready for the next day. No rocket science steps needed to pack up and stow tent. I would recommend getting the associated footprint. The tent floor seems thin. No problems with it, just liked the extra protection from small rocks, sticks, etc. Also, the storage bag is a little large for the tent, which allows for the tent to unroll a bit after storage. I made two straps with quiick release buckles to alleviate this. Overall, very solid piece of gear. For the money, very tough to beat.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Performance, Ease of use, Great value, Cons: storage bag too large, a little heavy

little heavy, but great buy.

This tent is one of the best buys for your money. I've had it for over a year now and it hasn't failed me yet. It is a bit heavy, but overall it's quality and relatively cheap.

Good tent but heavy
October 19, 2006

I used this tent in NC in September and got rained on for 2 days straight. The seems held wonderfully with no post-market seam treatment, only how the tent came! It's roomy and a good design. But as for lugging it around on your back, try another lighter tent.

Good value
June 16, 2009

We bought this tent as a compromise tent, a little heavy for backpacking, but light for canoeing trips. I've been really happy with it, except for an intermittent leak at one zipper. It kept us up one night in REALLY heavy rain, however, we've since been out in normal rainstorms and have not had any leaks. Good value, and *just* fits me (6'2").

Great personal tent

Bought this tent for recreational use and it has everything I could ask for. Lightweight and quick assembly.

Most bang for my buck
January 23, 2006

Took this tent into The Great Northwoods of Minnesota late fall "05" and it stood up to the cool wind and rain for seven days. Myself and my equipment stayed comfortible and dry!

Item came faster than expected, excellent service!

right price right weight slightly large when packed due mainly to poles not folding down smaller but other than that great tent for the money

I live in south chile and have had this tent for over 4 years now. Its simply awesome. I have been in wind storms and rain fall you can´t even imagine, tent hitting me in the face on my back, wind bent the poles in the form of an arc!!!! Its simply held up. The design is great, its lightweight, the outdoor coverage, where you zip up the tent is great. You have room to put bags or shoes outside and the flaps protect really good. It holds the heat in good and is warm, never had a leakage problem, and just one tear on the zipper after all this time because a friend tied it down way too tight and busted it. All in all I am super happy with this buy and would recommend this tent to anyone. I use it for all seasons too and it works well in the winter so no problem there.

Pros: Great design, Build quality, Lasts forever, Performance, Ease of use, Great value

excellent tent,but a bit heavy
February 02, 2007

Even though i and other people agree it is a bit large packed up, i ABSOLUTLEY LOVE this tent. The complete coverage rain fly is great. You wont have to worry about wind and rain in this tent.

Heavy but still good!

Received this tent as a gift and I love it. I wish it packed down smaller and didn't weigh so much, but the tent itself is great!

Great tent at a great price
January 08, 2006

The first thing that caught my attention about this tent was the price. Hard to find a great tent for a great price. It will be perfect for the solo campers in our house, especially when it is not too cold. We are odering another one!!! Thanks, Altrec.
