Description

Whether you're going on a shorter day hike, taking the pooch for a walk around the park, or spending the weekend wandering around an outdoor music festival where you want to keep your stuff with you but don't want a big pack bouncing on your back when you're dancing, this fannypack rules. Perfect for a few essential items, The North Face Roo II Lumbar Pack is an instant classic with its simple design and streamlined features.

Made with durable polyester material, this waistpack has a large, 3-liter, main compartment and a front zippered stash pocket. The back panel is comfy on your lower lumbar all day and the winged, adjustable hipbelt keeps it securely in place no matter how you wear it – around your waist in the front, in the back or askew on the side.

Moms, students and hipsters all agree: The North Face Roo II Lumbar Pack is the perfect size for carrying phone, wallet, keys, pens and other small items. But instead of lugging around a purse or a pack, this handy little fanny pack frees up your hands and shoulders.

Great Lumbar Pack
December 09, 2010

Its light, I like the two pockets. It would have be even better, if it had a place for a bottle water. I still love it!

Great Bag, Great Size, Awful Strap
June 28, 2010

BAG: generous capacity at 2 compartments - large main one with dual zippers and smaller front one with single zipper; both zippers have covering flap for moisture resistance; main compartment lined with water-resistant nylon; back of large compartment has thin padded layer stitched in for comfort and to help bag maintain its shape; excellent overall design; STRAP/BUCKLE: the strap is nice and wide and firmly attached to the bag; at each side is a sliding loop designed to keep the loose end close to the body; the POORLY DESIGNED plastic buckle, through with the straps are threaded, does nothing to hold the strap at its current length; every time the bag is removed the strap slips in the buckle, requiring the length to be readjusted when it is put back on; yes, the strap slides easily in the buckle (that's the problem), but you have to bend over at the waist to take weight off the strap, pull the loose ends to tighten, re-seat the bag comfortably on your waist, then adjust the sliding loops to secure the loose ends; my waist size does not change hour-to-hour nor week-to-week, so the fact that I must readjust the strap every time I remove and reattach the waist pack renders this product unusable; a very nice product totally undermined by a cheap plastic component;

great size -length of the strap is perfect for a college bag

Handy little pack
December 29, 2010

I love having this pack for those shorter hikes, when I only need to carry a few things, and not a whole backpack worth of stuff. It's fairly roomy, and very durable. It also wears pretty comfortably. I only wish there were pockets for a water bottle or two on the side - it's difficult to fit two water bottles in the larger compartment.

love it

A Good Value!
November 08, 2010

I was really satisfied with this pack and had my future set on it, when I discovered the back side, the material peeling away from the foam. I returned it as a defect, but besides this factor (maybe it was an isolated incident), this pack is a good value--wide belt and buckle, padding, durable fabric, good price.

soooo coool!
