The North Face Men's Fury GORE-TEX XCR Trail Running Shoe:
It's not a trail running shoe, but you can run for miles in it. It's not a light hiking shoe but that shouldn't stop you from logging ten or more miles in the middle of June. The North Face Fury GORE-TEX® XCR specialized in nothing other than outdoor versatility--and does it better than most hybrids that make the same claims. The upper consists of a durable combination of Nubuck leather and pig suede in varying densities to give you the right amount of protection without weighing you down in excesses. Beneath the overlays, underlays and waterproof ballistic textile fabrics is a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® XCR® membrane that helps keep your feet dry and comfortable. Compared to other shoes with mesh uppers, the extra upper reinforcement material on The North Face Fury GORE-TEX® XCR doesn't deliver the same degree of breathable vapor transfer, but it is an excellent shoe for milder climates and damp or even rainy conditions. The North Face added a TPU shank and forefoot protection plate in the lightweight EVA midsole for protection along the bottom. Underneath you'll find that the TNF Trail Grip rubber outsole has raised nubs and aggressive lugs in a blend of compounds for superior traction in slick conditions. This is a great three-season shoe that can even go the distance in mild winter conditions without leaving you with cold, wet feet.
