Get to the top of the peak with the Spire 38, a mid-capacity alpine pack for all-season use. The MGF Plus suspension lets you carry heavy gear in comfort with dual-density shoulder straps, a comfort zone around your clavicle and an anatomically shaped removable hipbelt with load controlling compression straps. Adjustable ski slots, daisy chains and a removable floating hood give you the options you need to take on the ice and the snow.
spire 38 pack
i loved my spire pack! its been dropped from a helicopter, tumbled down a mountain 1,000 ft and survived a bear attack (The pack itself). but lost to theifs! great pack for a killer price!
Good overnighter pack
I've used this pack for 3 overnights already here in the tropical mountains of the Philippines, and I have to say this pack exceeds my expectations...
It has survived the hottest sun, torrential rains, thorns, rocks... Every single thing you could encounter while climbing in the southern hemisphere.
More Pro's:
- Nice weight distribution
- Hydration Sleeve very durable
- Padding sufficient for a 15 kilogram load.
Mine still looks like brand new after washing. The only thing I managed to mess-up is the lock of the string on top of the pack (I don't know exactly what it's called). It has a crack now along the side which extends halfway around the entire plastic thingie. But It has held since its third use.
Good day hike pack...
I liked this pack alot for day hikes and overnight hikes. Although, it was horrible for multi-day hikes and canoe camping. It was not to durable either. It ripped out in some places and did not dry quick at all.
