While traversing the urban landscape or to backcountry destinations beyond, The North Face Sure Shot Backpack is a full-sized, multi-faceted daypack with room enough for all your daily necessities. Around town an elastic laptop sleeve protects your Internet connection, while a top zip pocket with audio port keeps the tunes flowing. A mesh divider, and secondary front pocket manages all the little stuff, so you don't go bonkers during a bottomless search. Hydration is at the ready through a top port along with a sternum strap Safe-T whistle, while reflective hits add safety. Packing up for the backcountry, a highly breathable E-VAP™ backpanel, backsaver bottom panel, and harness with sternum strap easily manages the load. Side and bottom compression straps offer oversized and quick access carrying attachments, and cinches up to keep your gear from moving around.

Perfect for almost anything!!!
This bag will be used for everything from day hikes, camping and school. I love everything about this bag, there is only one warning I would give. If you are looking to buy this for school and have a 17 inch laptop, just beware that the universal sleeve has little padding and the straps don't reach. HOWEVER, being the computer nerd I am, I do feel 100% positive the bag does give ample security to your laptop and fits snug enough that the staps being too short will not be any problem.

well worth the money
Well worth the money. I use it as a backpack for school, mostly heavy textbooks and many of them! Has outlasted all other backpacks that I have had in the past. The amount of room is amazing for a day pack. It is extremely comfortable, well constructed, and durable. I would recommend it to anyone!

Great day pack
Lots of room, compartments, well built and rugged. I am overly pleased with the Sure Shot pack. All you can ask for in a day pack.

Not good for college!
I ordered online. CONS - very, VERY small. FULL with my 14" laptop, power supply, and one binder. Not even a light lunch could fit, much less a textbook. -I count 5 large t-shirts could fit MAX from empty. -Picture makes the pack look MUCH larger than it actually is. -Straps are too skinny and uncomfortable, causing pain after a few minutes for me. -adjustable tether on straps is sewed to middle of strap/ends mid way down strap!!.. this is a bad design flaw! -Zippers do not travel full length, making getting books out a difficult task while in class. -The accessory/second pocket is a pain, again because of the zippers. Quite pointless even trying to put a pencil/calculator in there. PROS -well designed laptop sleeve doesn't extend to the bottom of the pack. -flexible and rigid padded frame behind laptop sleeve -stitching is quality -good assortment of pockets -looks good/stylish OVERALL -Only online item I have ever returned -Would be great for someone traveling Very light. -Very disappointed with North Face

Disappointed with the quality.
The bungee cord at the top of the mesh water bottle bottle pocket broke within 2 weeks of purchase.
