very comfortable
I read so many review about it, and I made my decision after I completed all the reviews :) My size is 2 (36-38 Europe) and Small fit just perfectly. I can wear a sweater/long shirt in it. I have enough room, but at the same time it doesn't look big.
However, if you will wear only with t-shirt, you may check x-small. You also need to keep in mind that x-small will be shorter than small size. Therefore, I didn’t even consider as an option.
Overall, it is a great product, looks very nice! Also, thanks to Altrec! It was an easy transaction, quick shipment. I am a very picky customer, and the product was in perfect shape!

LOVE THIS VEST!!!!
This vest is so nice looking and very warm. I am 5'5 and weigh 137 pounds and small fit perfect. It is pricey, but so worth the purchase and I am sure this will last me for many years. I definitely recommend this vest.

Great vest, perfect length
This wasn't my first choice of vest only because of the cost. But after ordering and trying on 4 other Columbia vests that were cheaper, this was the one that ended up being the perfect length for my 5'2" frame. It is very warm & I like the little bit of shine it has.

Vest is terrific!
This vest was given to my daughter as a Christmas gift and she is very pleased both with the fit and the comfort. A number of places did not have this vest in her size and color - and I was very excited to find it at Altrec. I recommend this site to all!

Love this vest. It gives just enough warmth, without the bulk. So comfortable. This vest would be great for spring, fall, and winter. Very versatile piece, and great for layering. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great vest-have it several colors
I love this vest. The satiny exterior is a nice texture and adds a little style to the vest. It's a thick material so the feathers don't shed or poke through at all, which is a big hassle with some down coats. Northface sizing can be a little frustrating and inconsistent. I am 5'6'' 120 lbs and small busted. Their Metropolis coat fits perfectly in XS, the Northface Transit Jacket I own in XS and it is a bit large and boxy. But they don't make it any smaller. This Aconcagua vest I have in both the small-- where it is a little roomy under the arms/bust. And in XS, which fits perfectly in the bust but is a tad short on my 5'6'' frame. I still think I prefer the XS because it looks cute with longer shirts layered underneath. But if you are any taller, this will be too short on your torso. Not sure how the big diamond pattern would look on the front of someone super busty. The satiny material is stronger than the shiny materials they make some of their other jackets in. Which makes the drape a little stiff. It actually gives this vest a nice polish and urbanity. Also, I love Altrec customer service.

The vest fits perfect. It's lightweight and not bulky and very comfortable to wear. It was shipped the next day and received within days after the order was place. I'm considering another purchase.

Nice
Great feel and fits true to size. Form shaping than other vests ive had. Thinner than exPected overall great. Feels thicker than mens vest that i also ordered. It was veeeery flat but low heat ten min in dryer puffed it up. Could b alittle thicker. Love the hint of shine in the material and Pattern makes itfeminie

Great vest
It's lightweight and not bulky at all, yet it kept me very comfortable outside. The quality is excellent and I'm considering a second one in another color, so I would definitely recommend it.

Great Purchase
This was a great purchase and worth the money. I love that you can wear it all year round and it basically goes under or over anything. It's very comfortable and soft. It does great in the snow and rain. It's washable and easy to clean too. Love it!!

Aconcagua North Face Vest
A very nice vest--but not the traditional "puffy" down vest like the Carmel style North Face. It has a sleeker look and the fabric has a real shine to it, which is not always easy to see in the online pictures. I have worn the vest with jeans, but it is a little dressier than my regular down vest. The vest ran a little big, which was a surprise because I think NF usually runs small, not large. I ordered a small and in the front, it puffed out after zipping it up (I am 5' 2" and 105 and do not usually need petite clothes sizes). I ended up returning the small and purchasing an extra small. It fit everywhere else. One thing on the color--I ordered an "ivory moonlight" which looked a lot lighter on the picture, but is actually more of a champagne color. It's very pretty, but not the cream color I was expecting.

Large but a comfortable fit. Nice material. No problem with zipper snags. Inside pockets made with soft, warm material.

love the look
The quality of this product is superior. The color "white" is like french vanilla ice cream. Very classy. All around great look and really great product. This vest will be a staple in my wardrobe for years.

Great Vest but beware of color
True to The North Face products, this vest is a s great as any. My reason for return is that the color that the website showed and specified is not even close to the actula color once the item was recived. Aside from that, if you are a North Face fan, you will be happy with this vest.

Comfortable
I love North Face products and especially this vest. It is not bulky and is very comfortable and warm, especially during these cold winter months. I highly recommend this for yourself or as a gift.

Great Vest
I bought this vest for my daughter. She absolutely loves it and wears it in the fall and spring, and on warmer winter days. It looks great, is not too bulky, and yet provides more warmth than most vests. We will definitely buy this product again.
