nice and roomy, but still stays well organized. large enough for my laptop, a textbook, gym clothes, lunch, a sweater, and maybe a change of shoes. very comfortable as well.

The only thing it's missing is an inside zipper area. Other than that it's very comfortable, stylish, and roomy! I love it. Altrec shipped so fast and was the best price I found.

I really like this backpack because for a girl, it's not too big. I find that it's really convenient for school since I can carry everything that I need in it, including a laptop. Also, the different compartments inside makes it easy to organize what you're carrying.

The size of the bag is perfect for me. After putting in my laptop, I still have space for my notes and other personal items. The secondary compartment with organization is very handy. It allows me to retrieve my keys, mobile phone, mp4 and wallet easily.

I like the item, however, I wish it were a little bigger so I can put my laptop, a binder, a notebook, and a book in there. The shoulder support is pretty good. Overall, I like the way the backpack looks and feels.

I recommend this backpack 100%. It's sleek and sheek in design It holds school books very easily and does not put stress on my back while carrying those heavy books. This is a great backpack for kids, teens, and adults. It's very durable.

used for my trip to Australia - carries a lot and doesn't feel heavy (i'm slender). one strap kind of hurt my shoulder blade but maybe i didn't adjust right. i got the brown w/ orange and it's very attractive. got lots of compliments. perfect for outdoors. great quality. i recommend.

I ordered Big Shot, Hot Shot, and Recon, along with Amira to see which one'd fit me the best. Although Amira has the smallest cubic feet, its length is perfect for my back (am 5'3") and the straps don't cut into my shoulder bones (all 3 others do because they are wider).
My Dell 150 fits into the slot with about 1 1/2 inches sticking out. Don't matter. It is a well constructed multi-purpose backpack that I can take to travel, commute, and day hike.

I got a moonstone color. It's fine. With my 14'' laptop and several textbooks in it, it is still not too heavy. The design is fine. the only thing I don't like is that the backpack is not very good for everyday. it's more like a bag for travel.

I bought this pack for my daughter (age 8)who is riding her bike to school this year. I wanted a pack that had a belt and chest strap for security and comfort while riding her bike. This pack has enough room for all of her gear and is comfortable to wear.

I purchased this pack for my girlfriend, thinking it the "top-of-the-line" The North Face pack for women. Simply put, it's just that. I own the men's Recon II, and this pack is basically the women's version, albeit perhaps nicer. It has everything you'd expect from The North Face (quality, attention to detail) and some add-on's my Recon lacks (a suspended laptop compartment, for example). Altrec's Price Match Plus Guarentee was great, as was customer service. I would highly recommend both this store and this day pack.

I bought this bag for my Daughter who commutes into the city every week-end with all her music gear and this bag was perfect for her.It is roomy enough with lots of extra pockets for water bottles Ipods etc so she is happy.It is well constructed and most of all comfortable to wear even when it is filled with books.

Fits my shoulders well. Works great for both a 1-2 day backpack or a day pack for business travel. Organization section is great. Lots of extras like the whistle, key hoder that has a quick release and hip belt.
