The versatile, technical, waterproof, breathable outer shell is teamed up with a quilted Heatseeker insulated liner with multiple function features.
Best coat I've ever owned
I've worn this coat in the rain, sleet, snow--stayed outside for hours in single digit temperatures with winds of 50-60 miles an hour-- I've NEVER been uncomfortable at any time in this fabulous coat. It was worth every penny. Sometimes I wear a tee shirt underneath when I'm walking my dog in 10 degree F weather, and it still feels like comfortable room temperature inside the jacket.
I didn't get the same color liner as in the picture though. (I bought the white coat and it came with a light blue liner instead of the tan one like in the picture.)

Amplitude Triclimate
I have lived in very cold weather--Kodiak,Alaska--and very warm-- Midway Island--but I prefer warm. I currently live a half hour NW of New York City. Sometimes it gets bitterly cold. Some people can stay in, but I have a cockapoo (nearly 2 years old) and walk him 3 times a day, sometimes very late at night. I bought the Triclimate to have the insulation in winter and then a lighter jacket when it gets closer to spring or fall. I only wish it had a few spots of reflective material for when I walk my dog at night. Otherwise, I am VERY pleased with this jacket and highly recommend it. Hey, why not make some reflective gear? Maybe you already do.

Simply warm!
This jacket is all that it describes to be! It fits great and keeps me warm through the cold days. I recommend it to anyone who is considering buying a high quality jacket (which this one is!)

Awesome
Great jacket! So versitile. Inner liner is warm on its own and the shell has already gotten me thru a couple of good downpours.

The Jacket is great
Shopping with altrec was a good experience.
I received my order in a timely manner and was very pleased with the service. My only regret was that I could have gotten the same jacket at several other stores for $50 less if I had shopped earlier. Altrec was the only one with the color I wanted.

One Jacket for all seasons
Bought this as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loves it. We live in the Midwest where Winters can be really cold (as well as parts of Fall and Spring). The Amplitude Triclimate is truly a three season jacket.

This Jacket is amazing
I live in central Illinois and we recently had an ice storm and then a snowstorm and the jacket was amazing.

unique and confident
true to size and functionality, the amplitude is unique in style since many retail departments carry this model. zippering off a few layers, one can change from season to season within a few seconds. an all-season gear.
above average
It is a great coat for warmth. It also keeps me quite dry in rain. I like how the collar zips so high to block the wind. I am disappointed in structure of the coat. The liner layer is only attached to the shell by a single snap. It makes it very awkward to put on and take off. If you can deal with that, I would suggest buying this coat.
