I love the jacket. The only thing I don't like about it is the way the xs fits. It runs a little small compared to the fleece kind. Excellent in the wind. Considering buying another!

I own a couple of other Apex fabric articles and finally got my daughter to try it out this year instead of her normal fleece jacket she usually gets. Of course she loves it, and has worn it to school everyday since it arrived. Sizing seems about right based on other North Face purchases. Top notch construction and quality, as you would expect. These really are such versatile jackets, everyone should own at least one.

This North Face bionic apex jacket is awesome! It's water resistant, wind proof, warm in cool weather , but not too hot and it fits like a glove. I normally don't like fitted jackets, but this felt entirely comfortable as soon as I tried it on. The sleeves were a little long for me , but that sometimes happens with all of my tops, so, maybe I have short arms, eh, I just folded the cuff up a bit and it was fine. Thank you north face engineers for designing an all ' round functional and "cool" jacket. :D Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention the strategic pockets it has so even if u have a large wallet in one of the pockets, you might not even feel it or it's weight in the pocket.

I have a long torso and arms. This jacket fits wonderfully, hugging just enough to keep the core warm and loosely enough to make room for any sweater. I bought the Loganberry which is a beautiful, flattering raspberry color. I plan to take this jacket with me on a trip to S. America where I will need packable protection from cool temperatures, wind and rain. It performs well in all these conditions, just what I needed.

This jacket is exactly what I expected! I am really happy and satisfied with the purchase. I am only 5'3 so it fits perfectly in terms of length. I usually wear XS for all my tops but I may want to layer this with something when it gets really cold, so I bought in S.

The Apex Bionic Jacket fits true to size and has a quality feel to it. It is very comfortable and sleek looking! Although it is quite thin, it is warm. Would definitely recommend!

I got this jacket after my boyfriend got tired of me stealing his version of this jacket on outings. The fit could be a little more tailored in the back for a sleeker look, but overall it fits well. It's warm, windproof, and waterproof - a good fall/spring camping essential. I got many compliments on it the last trip out.

The jacket is a great city jacket. As a gear-head and former outdoor store employee I have some issues with some of the tech parts: The zippers are small and flimsy for one. The version my wife purchased has a longer tail, which is good for keeping the back warm during windy days. This jacket should be used for mild weather and light rain. The XS fits like a S for my wife, long sleeves and long torso

I use it alone as a spring to fall jacket. Love it. If you have large arms order up a size or get the men's Apex Bionic as my friend did. She loves it.

I love this jacket for rainy days and for walking/hiking. It is very durable and breathable material. I would wear this while exercising or while going out to dinner at night. Very pleased with my purchase and looks really nice and sleek!

I live in Massachusetts and the weather is always changing. I love this jacket it is perfect for late winter;early spring and even colder weather. I love that it is not bulky and the color I got scared me at first(midnight ivory, but it washes great and it water resistant too!! I would recommend it highly!!!

This jacket is good for windy conditions but you'll need something thicker when it's under 60degF (maybe try the thermal version). It is a smart-looking jacket that you can wear from the trail to the city. Love the longer back design. I usually wear a XS and the XS fits well with 1 thin long sleeve top underneath(eg. TNF El Cap 1/4 zip).

I absolutely love this jacket! I live near Rocky Mountain National Park where it is windy a lot of the year. I have been looking for something that would help and I found it. Just got the jacket and already got to try it out and I am just thrilled. The material is excellent, standard of The North Face, and design is great. They do run true to size so if you want to wear anything bulky under, you might want to size up. To me the joy is being able to go to RMNP with just a trail shirt and this jacket. No bulk to make hiking easier and more comfortable so I didn't want to size up. Excellent jacket!

Very warm. Great at blocking the wind. I already had the brown one and loved it so much I ordered the yellow. I usually wear a medium, but in this one I got a large and it fits.

Like the jacket but not the fact that the lining of the sleeves make it hard to get lightweight fleece through them. Your arms don't slide into the sleeves at all. I knew it was mostly a windstopper but I really thought it would be warmer.

This jacket protects against the wind wonderfully and stays really warm. I wear it all over campus and never get cold. The sleeve length is a little on the short side if you have long arms so you might order up a size but other than that everything else is true to size. I ordered bittersweet brown and it is a deep beautiful brown color much richer than the picture shows.
