A nice jacket

I wanted another TNF jacket that was warmer than my Bionic Jacket but not bulky; something for the fall/early winter and this jacket does the trick. I like that I wear it with just my regular clothes, and I feel warm enough without sweating either. I don't care for the shiny outside layer (looks like I'm wearing a garbage bag) but I love the jacket. I got a small that is kind of big, but with a sweatshirt/sweater underneath, it's just right.

The northface is known for producing great quality cloths. However this jacket was not what I hoped for. Though the material is nice and the stitching looks great, it is a little too thin and too shiny. The pictures do not really show how shiny the jacket is. It almost has a plastic effect due to the shine. I will return it and purchase another Northface jacket.

Striking look and very versatile

I own this jacket in teaberry pink and premiere purple, both are very striking colors. The fabric is shiny, but definitely not too shiny, as some reviewers have suggested. Colors and shine of fabric make this jacket very fashionable looking. It is extremely light, versatile AND attractive looking. I have worn it for biking, walking in the woods and at the beach, but also around town. Wear it with some cool sneakers or flip flops in matching colors, and it will be a great outfit. I am 5'7, chest 34 B, 125 lbs and wear a size S. Jacket is slightly fitted, and gives you a great figure. Can't wait to wear it in the spring, and in the summer on cooler evenings or during a windy bike ride. I have not tried wearing it as a layer under a warmer jacket, but that may work, too. It seems too attractive to hide it underneath other clothing. I highly recommend this jacket. It will look nice on women of various age groups. Once you have one, you may end up getting it in another color!
