Feather came out through the fabrics

I like the style and fit of the jacket. I bought two to give one to my cousin and she wore her first. She returned it to me and showed me how feathers are coming out through the fabric. Hers was black so it is quite obvious where all the white little feathers are. I didnt expected from Northface. I am going to return both of my jackets. Luckly, Altrec has life time warranty. I really like the style and wish that northface will solve this problem in the future. I didn't mind the cost since the jackets were on sale. But, if i were to have bought it when it is full price, i would have been very very disappointed. Only one bad thing about the fathers but it is a one huge con.

Bought this jacket for my 12 y.o daughter. The xsmall fits perfect. We liked this jacket over the girls version because it is more fitted with longer arms. My daughter says it is very comfortable, easy to move in, lightweight but warm. She also likes the inside pocket. Bought it on sale - great value.

This is the first North Face jacket for me and I was surprised - it is light, much lighter than my other down jackets! It is very comfortable - so soft. It looks good. Quality is great - stiches used for outer shell and inner lining are small. The type of seam (looks like French seam but not sure) used for inner lining makes it durable. Zipper quality was good. I love it.

This is my first North Face jacket and I love it! It fits great, is true to size (I'm 5'2 134 lbs, 36D) and I ordered a large and fits perfect. The seams are in a "V" pattern which is flattering and isn't bulky at all. It's very lightweight and it has gathered sleeves that keep the cold out. I would definitely recommend this jacket.

I chose this jacket for its design. The diagonal stitching makes it very flattering so you don't look like the Michelin Man when wearing it! It is a very slim fit so I would recommend an upsize from your regular size.

I'm so pleased with this purchase! Yay for Altrec for putting the Carmel on sale. The fit is perfect (got a medium -- I'm 5'7" and 125 lbs), the coat is plenty warm, and it looks super cute and sporty. One thing to note: this coat generates ALOT of static electricity! The black that I ordered shows all the lint clinging to it. I'd recommend getting a lighter color.

I ordered this coat, because I wanted a warm, non bulky fashionable coat. This cost is great, I ordered a large because the reviews I read said go down a size.... I should have stuck with my first thought and ordered an Xl , so I am returning, but I'm placing another order now! And what do you know, my mom and mom n law are placing an order! Altrec is awesome, the colors and prices are on point!

This is a great coat!! I love that it is not bulky. I have been eyeing this coat for the last 2 months and I am so glad that I got it! Now I need to get new ski pants! The only con with the coat is that some of the down feathers are coming out. Somewhat noticable since the coat is black. I have contacted Altrec and they have no problem with me sending it back to get a new one. The customer service at Altrec is great!

Bought this for the Mrs, and it fits like a dream. She's chuffed to bits at the puffy comfort, and it's super warm to boot. Excellent, purchase though i have doubts about its use in rainy weather. Otherwise very pleased with the purchase. Another quality product from TNF

I have two Nuptse jackets and decided to try this one as well. I like that the seams are on an angle, it makes for a more flattering cut, to make you look slimmer. I normally wear a large, but I will need a medium in this style of jacket. Sleeves are longer in the jacket as well. Can't beat NF for warm jackets.

I purchased this jacket in white and I love it. Nice fit, not bulky at all. The only problem is the sleeves are running short (I'm 5'6'' and 110 lbs). I ordered in XS and everything fits perfectly except the sleeves are a little bit above my wrist. So, I returned it and unfortunately the next size are already sold out. But, I will definitely recommend this jacket.

The jacket is warm and durable with good quality material. The only thing that disappointed me was the sleeve that is too big that it makes it look bigger than my body when I wear it. Have to return it and find something else..

This is a great jacket!! Very warm and waterproof! I purchased it to wear in the skiing and in the snow. You are warm the instant you put it on. It is not as bulky as some and is more flattering to the feminine figure. Unfortunately, the jacket I received had a defect and the down was coming out from around the seams and buttons. I contacted customer service and am returning the jacket but will purchase an identical replacement. Customer service was very kind, prompt and attentive. They offered a quick and easy, no hassle return. I will purchase the replacement ASAP and will keep this jacket forever!
